She might be, or she might be egg bound. Egg binding is when they cant lay eggs for whaever reason. Its hard to tell. Is she sitting on the floor of the cage alot?

Well, so could be pregnant if there is a male with her.  Anyways you need to watch her and make sure she doesn't be come egg bound.  The one my my neice has lays eggs all the time.  I have extra calcuim to make sure she is getting enough of it.

Bailey,  How is your bird now?  She shouldn't be panting.  Eggs are delivered so rapidly after being formed in her body that if she is panting, it may be stuck and she may need vet help to pass the egg.
Let us know, please.

Ok you need a calcuim bone in the cage at all times.  See if you can find the ABBA grit, it is really good as lots of minerals and calcuim too.  You really need to read up on zebra finches.  There is a lot of info on the web on them.  Also they need greens too!  You can buy that at Petsmart in a little bag.  Petsmart doesn't carry the ABBA grit though.  I have checked already in my area.

Greens are good, But dont collect greens from roadsides or lawns that have been aplied with pestecide or fertilizer. Many plants and weeds are toxic too. My finches like dandilion leaves, and love the seeds.. There easy to find. Wash turoughly before serving to your birds (dont use soap). If everythings dead or under snow, lettuce is enjoyed by birds, but dont have much nutrient value. Wash the leaves first.
Many fruits are good (not pomegrade!) IF you can get your birds to eat it. Cut in thin slices.

For calcium  you can give them a cuttlebone--finches normally like using those very much.  You can also give ground eggshell, which can be purchased at petstores or you can grind your own after baking the shells, then crush with a heavy rolling pin.  They also like a mineral supplement--my favorite to use is Mineralite by Silversong-- it's a deep cobalt blue and isn't full of granite  like most of the others.

Why are you so anxious to have babies?  Get a good book on finch care and take the time to know what you are doing first.  You really do need to know much more about the basics of bird care before breeding these birds.

Bailey,  I agree that you need lots more information before beginning to breed your birds.
Here is a very good page about breeding.
There is a link on this page about diet to help in making sure their health is tops before they have to raise and feed babies.
You need to study this and a couple of books and then keep them handy so you can refer back to the information as time passes.
