I wish to start a discussion on the subject Tweety spoke of.  I will show some places in Scripture, where God is speaking to and of Jesus, and then other places where Jesus is speaking to God.

I hope all of you will post some places you see this is.....not the obvious places in the NT,  but places where it is not apparent.
Let's see what we can find on this subject.  You will learn some mighty precious secrets about Jesus when You see him in these Scriptures, and do not misplace it on some other earthly man.  you will learn things about Jesus which you never knew, and which, in some cases, will break your heart and others will trill you.

Ps 27:2 When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.
Ps 27:3 Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.
Ps 27:4 One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in his temple.
Ps 27:5 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.
Ps 27:6 And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.
Ps 27:7 Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me.
Ps 27:8 When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek.

People miss so much glory when they cannot see that Jesus is speaking and being spoken of in most Scripture.  when they accredit most of Psalms to David,  they certainly are not seeing the truth, or the glory.

The above verses are Jesus speaking.  It is prophecy.  David, being a PROPHET, spoke the words of God and of Jesus.

To me this is one of the most beautiful verses in all the Word......verse 8... it is JESUS speaking to God, his father.  It is not David.

Jesus said to God, When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek.

I love that.  When God said to Jesus,  seek ye my face,  Jesus said right back to God,  Thy face, LORD, will I seek.

Love it.  See this truth.  It is Jesus, not David.

What do you think verse two is speaking of?  It is Jesus saying that his enemies came on him to eat up his flesh.....means do away with his truth he brought.  but they stumbled and fell.  His flesh means his truth God put into his mouth, to give us.  But to 'eat it up', means to destroy it.

They are still working at this.  but they will still stumble and fall, all who seek to destroy his truth, or his flesh.

Jo

~~ Isaiah fortY-nine ~~

Isa 49:1 Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name.

Isa 49:2 And he hath made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of his hand hath he hid me, and made me a polished shaft; in his quiver hath he hid me;

Isa 49:3 And said unto me, Thou art my servant, O Israel, in whom I will be glorified.

Isa 49:4 Then I said, I have laboured in vain, I have spent my strength for nought, and in vain: yet surely my judgment is with the LORD, and my work with my God.

Isa 49:5 And now, saith the LORD that formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the LORD, and my God shall be my strength.

Isa 49:6 And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.

Isa 49:7 Thus saith the LORD, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to him whom man despiseth, to him whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of the LORD that is faithful, and the Holy One of Israel, and he shall choose thee.

Isa 49:8 Thus saith the LORD, In an acceptable time have I heard thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee: and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages;

Isa 49:9 That thou mayest say to the prisoners, Go forth; to them that are in darkness, Show yourselves. They shall feed in the ways, and their pastures shall be in all high places.

Isa 49:10 They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun smite them: for he that hath mercy on them shall lead them, even by the springs of water shall he guide them.

Isa 49:11 And I will make all my mountains a way, and my highways shall be exalted.

Isa 49:12 Behold, these shall come from far: and, lo, these from the north and from the west; and these from the land of Sinim.

Isa 49:13 Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the LORD hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted.

Isa 49:14 But Zion said, The LORD hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me.

Isa 49:15 Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.

Isa 49:16 Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.

Isa 49:17 Thy children shall make haste; thy destroyers and they that made thee waste shall go forth of thee.

Isa 49:18 Lift up thine eyes round about, and behold: all these gather themselves together, and come to thee. As I live, saith the LORD, thou shalt surely clothe thee with them all, as with an ornament, and bind them on thee, as a bride doeth.

Isa 49:19 For thy waste and thy desolate places, and the land of thy destruction, shall even now be too narrow by reason of the inhabitants, and they that swallowed thee up shall be far away.

Isa 49:20 The children which thou shalt have, after thou hast lost the other, shall say again in thine ears, The place is too strait for me: give place to me that I may dwell.

Isa 49:21 Then shalt thou say in thine heart, Who hath begotten me these, seeing I have lost my children, and am desolate, a captive, and removing to and fro? and who hath brought up these? Behold, I was left alone; these, where had they been?

Isa 49:22 Thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I will lift up mine hand to the Gentiles, and set up my standard to the people: and they shall bring thy sons in their arms, and thy daughters shall be carried upon their shoulders.

Isa 49:23 And kings shall be thy nursing fathers, and their queens thy nursing mothers: they shall bow down to thee with their face toward the earth, and lick up the dust of thy feet; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD: for they shall not be ashamed that wait for me.

Isa 49:24 Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered?

Isa 49:25 But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.

Isa 49:26 And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.

Who is speaking to God in this chapter? Any idea? Notice verse four. Isa 49:4 Then I said, I have laboured in vain, I have spent my strength for nought.

Who is this saying I have laboured in vain? Who thought he had spent his strength for nothing? Who is the servant of God? You need to find the true answer to this.

This entire chapter is of the same person. Study it verse by verse and see if it fits anything you already believe about Jesus and God. Do you really know the true Jesus of Scripture? Are you sure?

If you think, as so many do, that this is being spoken to and about the nation of Israel, look again. Read it. Look at verse six. Is the nation of Israel God’s salvation to the entire earth? Look at verse eight. Did the nation of Israel be the covenant to the entire earth? Did they establish the earth and cause the desolate places to be inhabited? I certainly think not. Verse nine. Did they set all the prisoners free? Think again. This can only be speaking of Jesus Christ.

Psalm 118 (King James Version)

1 O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever.

2Let Israel now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.

3Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.

4Let them now that fear the LORD say, that his mercy endureth for ever.

5I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, and set me in a large place.

6The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?

7The LORD taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me.

8It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

9It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.

10All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD will I destroy them.

11They compassed me about; yea, they compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.

12They compassed me about like bees: they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.

13Thou hast thrust sore at me that I might fall: but the LORD helped me.

14The LORD is my strength and song, and is become my salvation.

15The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.

16The right hand of the LORD is exalted: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.

17I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.

18The LORD hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death.

19Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise the LORD:

20This gate of the LORD, into which the righteous shall enter.

21I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.

22The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.

23This is the LORD's doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.

24This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

25Save now, I beseech thee, O LORD: O LORD, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.

26Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD: we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD.

27God is the LORD, which hath shewed us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar.

28Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee.

29O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

This is Jesus speaking

Psalm 122

Ps 122:1#

A Song of degrees of David. I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.

Ps 122:2#

Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem.

Ps 122:3#

Jerusalem is builded as a city that is compact together:

Ps 122:4#

Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the LORD.

Ps 122:5#

For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David.

Ps 122:6#

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.

Ps 122:7#

Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.

Ps 122:8#

For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.

Ps 122:9#

Because of the house of the LORD our God I will seek thy good.

People misuse this and many other chapters of God's word to say that it speaks of natural Jerusalem.  Tis not so.  Jerusalem is Christ.  Not that old natural city.  But Jerusalem is a heavenly name of the Lord which that old city went by.

This chapter speaks of Christ and his Holy people, the true Christians.  People make this mistake all the time, and pray for those old rebellious folks in that old rebellious city, which the world calls Jerusalemm while at the same time fighting the  true Israel of God, the people of FAITH. (those with the Holy Ghost).

It is not God's Jerusalem.  The  Holy City, the born again people of Jesus, is this Israel which is of God.

If only people could learn this one great truth, and pray for Christians to come into the full light, and assemble themselves TOGETHER,  (not church going,)  then the people could be powerful witnesses of God one more time.

Zec 11:4 Thus saith the LORD my God; Feed the flock of the slaughter;

Zec 11:5 Whose possessors slay them, and hold themselves not guilty: and they that sell them say, Blessed be the LORD; for I am rich: and their own shepherds pity them not.

Zec 11:6 For I will no more pity the inhabitants of the land, saith the LORD: but, lo, I will deliver the men every one into his neighbour's hand, and into the hand of his king: and they shall smite the land, and out of their hand I will not deliver them.

Zec 11:7 And I will feed the flock of slaughter, even you, O poor of the flock. And I took unto me two staves; the one I called Beauty, and the other I called Bands; and I fed the flock.

Zec 11:8 Three shepherds also I cut off in one month; and my soul loathed them, and their soul also abhorred me.

Zec 11:9 Then said I, I will not feed you: that that dieth, let it die; and that that is to be cut off, let it be cut off; and let the rest eat every one the flesh of another.

Zec 11:10 And I took my staff, even Beauty, and cut it asunder, that I might break my covenant which I had made with all the people.

Zec 11:11 And it was broken in that day: and so the poor of the flock that waited upon me knew that it was the word of the LORD.

Zec 11:12 And I said unto them, If ye think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver.

Zec 11:13 And the LORD said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was prised at of them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the LORD.

Zec 11:14 Then I cut asunder mine other staff, even Bands, that I might break the brotherhood between Judah and Israel.

Zec 11:15 And the LORD said unto me, Take unto thee yet the instruments of a foolish shepherd.

Zec 11:16 For, lo, I will raise up a shepherd in the land, which shall not visit those that be cut off, neither shall seek the young one, nor heal that that is broken, nor feed that that standeth still: but he shall eat the flesh of the fat, and tear their claws in pieces.

Zec 11:17 Woe to the idol shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened.

This chapter is about Jesus and His disciples! Jesus fed his flock. He broke that old covenant with the people. The poor of the flock, (blessed are ye who are poor)…knew this was the word of the LORD.

Jesus said, Zec 11:8 Three shepherds also I cut off in one month; and my soul loathed them, and their soul also abhorred me.

Who was the three shepherds that he cut off? The Prophets, (OT), the Kings, (OT) and the Priests (OT). See that his soul loathed them and their soul hated Jesus. That is why they crucified him, they hated him.

After Jesus?death, that foolish shepherd, the false church, came up on his land.

Zec 3:1 And he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him.

Zec 3:2 And the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan; even the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?

Zec 3:3 Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel.

Zec 3:4 And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment.

Zec 3:5 And I said, Let them set a fair mitre upon his head. So they set a fair mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments. And the angel of the LORD stood by.

Zec 3:6 And the angel of the LORD protested unto Joshua, saying,

Zec 3:7 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by.

Zec 3:8 Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH.

Zec 3:9 For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.

Zec 3:10 In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, shall ye call every man his neighbour under the vine and under the fig tree.

This chapter is also about Jesus and His disciples. When I say disciples, I mean all of us. Jesus is being called Joshua in this chapter, as he is in many other chapters.

Joshua clothed with filthy garments? This is showing his earthly body, the image of sinful man. His body was the same as ours = Php 3:21 Who shall change our VILE BODY, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

Jesus said in a Psm. I will satisfied when I AWAKE ( resurrection) in thy (God’s) likeness. Up until his resurrection into Glory, he had the filthy garments = human body, with the sins of the world placed onto him.

Zec 3:4 And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment.

God gave this word, to change his raiment. This signifies the resurrection into his glorified body.

This is solid proof also, that up until the time of his resurrection, Jesus was ‘first man, Adam? He had to die to this and be resurrected into the glorious image of God.

Zec 3:8 Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH.

This high priest is Jesus. His fellows that sit before him, was his Apostles. They were men wondered at, for they were for signs and wonders. Jesus said, I am the vine, and ye are the BRANCHES.

What a pity that so few people can see Jesus in all the prophecies!

Zec 4:1 And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep,

Zec 4:2 And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof:

Zec 4:3 And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof.

Zec 4:4 So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my lord?

Zec 4:5 Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.

Zec 4:6 Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.

Zec 4:7 Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it. Zec 4:8 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

Zec 4:9 The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you.

Zec 4:10 For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.

Zec 4:11 Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof?

Zec 4:12 And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves?

Zec 4:13 And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.

Zec 4:14 Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.

In this chapter, Jesus is being called Zerubbable. This is one of the reason most people cannot understand Scripture and come to know the true Jesus of Scripture. They always think the word is about some other earthly man. Not so. God used those men to show the truth about Jesus. If it is told about in Scripture, it is speaking about Jesus.

Zec 4:9 The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you.

See that shows Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. He himself built the Holy City. He laid that foundation and he will finish it. There is much I could say about these chapters. But tonight, I am just giving you the way to interpret it. Study it for yourself.

Zec 4:10 For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth

Jesus is the one who had the plume line. Those seven are the seven spirits of the Lord which were upon Jesus.

The seven lamps are the seven churches. Those two olive trees are the two witnesses, the first, or Apostolic Church, in Acts, and the return of an anointed church with power from on high. It will be here after that seventh one has fallen.
