How many Mary's are mentioned in the Old Testament?

For that matter, how many Peters?

Is there a Luke?

How many Mary's are mentioned in the Old Testament?
As far as I can see there was no one named Mary if you are looking for a name.
There may be a type and shadow of Mary which there was but that would make a good question. What is the OT is a type and shadow of Mary the virgin?
For that matter, how many Peters?
I do not see but one Peter. But he also had a name change.

Interested in seeing u answers.

There also could be 2 Peter's in one body. The one that Jesus called Satan and the one that had the revelation of who he was. The 1st man Adam and the 2ND man Adam.

Mighty good thinking, Isaiah.  Right.  There are NO Marys in the OT.  there are no Peters.  No Lukes; no Pauls;
No James etc.  See for yourself.

All of these are strictly NEW TESTAMENT NAMES.

Now I know some will say it is only because of the change from Hebrew to Greek.  But no, I have proof this is NOT the answer.

Goodness!  Sitting here this minute, God gave me more on this revelation.  I speak truth, I lie not.

I just wrote on another thread that we had a 'Joseph' in both the OT and the NT.

I was wondering about that.  It just came to me.  I knew He showed me that Paul had to have the name change, for he could not do the NT work with the OT name of Saul.

Now God just showed me that  since Jesus was born under the OT Law, in the human flesh, under the curse of the OT Law, then he had a dad with the OT Name of Joseph.  since the other Joseph also was still under the law and acting that part as he took Jesus off the cross,  he also had to have an OT Name.

So Joseph is an OT Name; not a NT name.  Glory.  There must be coming something great from all of this.  I never got into any of this before.  This is most interesting and intriguing to me.

Jo

The only ones left are in the freezer.  I now have a wild turkey who has taken this for his home.  He has successfully eaten them down to nothing.  Rascle.  but I still love him.  Would not run him off for them.
I am a softy for the wild creatures.  The squerells (however u spell them)-- eat up most of the bird seed and I fuss them out, but would not do away with them for it.

I truly do love having the turkey again.  They had almost become tame to me way back before I brought my dog here.  Rosie would not let anything in this yard.  She was a good hound dog.

So now, with no dogs around, the turkeys are finally coming back.  He is in the yard when I get up.  This morning he heard me raising the blinds and did not run away.  He is mine.

love them.

but you are welcome to the ones in the freezer.  good thing I cooked up as many as I did.  when I could.
Peace.
