Hi Maligned,
Just remember the prodigal son came home and repented of all the pain he caused his father and stopped doing it. As you can see from some of the whiney, self pitying posts coming from some of the children on this site recently, they never repent, change or are sorry for their behavior. They spend their lives making excuses for themselves and pointing the finger at everyone else, especially parents. We are easy targets. Fortunately, we who are living through this understand and are not fooled by them.

I thought this comment would be refreshing for all, I have posted it before...
oh how I wish I had believed it!! The social worker who did our initial home
study worked at a juvenile detention center and said some of those kids need:
"bullet therapy". The bed and breakfast I stayed in when we were adopting a
child had a teen in long term therapy because she couldn't deal with her
anymore. Clues, signs... yes, but I wouldn't believe it. I believe christians
get beat up the most. I just watched something on the prodigal son and had to
turn the tv off. Nothing is impossible with God, except their free will. Their
free will-without a conscience... what are we to do?? There is a time to speak,
and a time not to. A time to embrace, and a time to refrain. You people here
are the only ones who understand. I am NOT an ogre for not speaking, for not
embracing!
