I thank you so much for all the infor you sent me on my gratgrandmother my father even had her maden name wrong I am sure that is what put me on the brich wall could you help me on my grandfather I am sure he had more kids then my father and uncle as my father talked about 1/2 brothers ( Herman O. Moreland his birth date is 1873 in IL.) is my grandfather my father is Horis Herman Moreland my mother said she wanted to name me Rose after my grandmother that is all I know of her

The 1880 Meigs County Tennessee Census has these people living in the household of Martha Moreland 48 Nc Nancy M age 23 Tn Horace F 20 Tn Margaret M. 17 Tn Milton A 15 IL Thomas M 15 IL John E 12 IL Etta M 10 IL Agnes 9 IL Herman O 7 IL Lucinda 6 TN Ida B. 3 Tn All these children are shown as sons or daughters of Martha, so they would be brothers or sisters (half or otherwise) to your Horace. (Shown elsewhere as Harris). |

hi thank you so much for what you have sent me I have been looking for so long yes I am one of the people who start asking ? after my mother and father pass LOL I got hold of one of my fathers 1/2 sisters same father different mothers my ? is who is my fathers mother my grandfather Herman O Moreand my father Horace Herman Moreland I have not had to much luck with Martha Jane do you think it is becuse i need to join somthing like Ancestry.com or could you give me a better one I have looked at a few .
