Abraham Russell married Elizabeth Davis in 1840 in Vienna, Johnson Cty, IL.   Elizabeth Davis was born in Kentucky to Rev. John and Polly Davis and had 8 siblings.   I have dates on her parents and some of the children.  I can not find anything on Abraham Russell, not even death date.  Abraham and Elizabeth's children were:Mary Ann, Berryman, Andrew Jackson, Louisa Jane, and James.  James is my ggrandfather.

I have figured out his children and know he married someone named Ella.  He moved to Oklahoma around 1910 or so.  His wife Ella is found in Canyon Co, Idaho census in 1930.  He was born in 1857 and she in 1861. 

Allisons father is John J Kirk of McDonough Co.

Need information on Allison's marriage to Ella and their deaths if possible.

I have no information for Harrison Taylor in Edgar County except that he was mentioned in some histories of Edgar County.  I believe he could be a son to Simon Taylor b. 26  Aug 1777 in Winchester, Fredrick Co., VA and died 6 Aug 1842 in Edgar Co., IL.  Simon married Elizabeth North 31 Dec 1801 in Harford, Ohio Co., KY.  She was born 1780 in Winchester and died Bet 1845-1849 in Sullivan County, Missouri.

Arthur Foster/Forster sister Delilah married Gabriel North Taylor I would like to get more info on Arthur Foster and his family.  He was born 28 Feb 1801 Muhlenberg, KY death?  he married Nancy Esarey 9 Apr 1825 in Clark Co., IL

Find all missing children of Simon and Elizabeth.  Would like more info on the Harrison Taylor that was in Edgar Co., IL

 

Info on Arthur Foster's father Thomas Foster b. 16 Oct 1773 PA 

I would like to find information about my great, great-grandmother, Augusta Lange Rost.  She was born on October 15, 1850 in St. Louis, anddied on September 30, 1906 in Omphaghent Township, Madison County, Illinois.  She married Carl (Charles) Rost on February 6, 1870 in Prairietown, Illinois, and had 11 children.  I have been unable to find out anything about her parents or siblings.  Help would be greatly appreciated.

I am searching for Mary Anne Polly Brown Waterman Burgess. I cann't locate her parents.  She was  born Aug. 6, 1821, wither in KY or OH., she married Charles C. Waterman Dec. 3, 1942 in Sangamon Co., 8 children. Charles died July 1, 1861 and "Polly" remarried to R. J. Burgess, one son Samuel. Polly died 25 Mar 1899.

 

In 2006, I found Polly's unmarked grave in Mechanicsburg Cemetery and have placed a stone on her grave Section A-355. I have searched for an obituary with no success.  With Polly is buried George W. Brown, b. 22 Jan.1815, d. 17 Jan. 1879.  Nothing further known of their parents. If anyone has information about Polly's parents, would be so grateful.

Know very little about him.  His daughter my grandmother was Ruth Ellen Newell  born 2/3/1898 in Springfield.  He married HarrietBates know nothing more about her.

According to the 1860 census for Colorado, her older son was living with his paternal grandparents in Colorado in 1860, and it lists Electa's birthplace as Massachusetts.  She married Elmer Davis in Peoria County, IL in 1853, had two children, Clarence born in 1874 and Caleb Elmer born in 1875.  Her husband died in 1876, and I have no further information about her.  Family legend says she remarried, and the new husband did not want two little boys around, which is why Clarence was sent to live with his grandparents, and my father, C. Elmer, was sent to Iowa to live with an aunt and uncle.  Another story is that she died shortly after her husband.  Electa is my grandmother, and I have searched for 40 years to find her and her parentage. 

Elmira BROWN, born in Illinois, 22 June, 1834, exact location unknown.  Her father was born in Tennessee and her mother was born in Kentucky.  She next shows up about 1856 in Woodbine twp, Jo Daviess Co married to Joseph THOMAS.  He was born in Connecticut about 1836.  Their first child, Mary Louisa THOMAS, was born in 1856 in Woodbine Twp.  Two more girls were born to them at that location, Melvina THOMAS, 1860, and Josephine Eveline THOMAS, 1862.  The family left for California in 1865. 

I am looking for any available information on them and, especially, their ancestors.

Trying to find grave of Ewing Wilson Organ who died in Wayne county between 1853 and 1855.  His father, Simpson Organ, is supposedly buriedon the Daniel Wright Farm, and Simpsons wife, Sina, is in Arrington Prairie Cemetery, outside of Sims (Once called Arrington Prairie).  Any help will be greatly appreciated, as this brick wall is making large knots on my poor head!!!  Simpson died in January of 1842.
