This doesn't help me. I do not know the name of the cemetery where Eva was buried. I had hoped the Find A Grave would be of help but it hasn't either. I'm getting burned out. I'm on the computer for hours. It seems everyone I'm looking for I can't find, even on ancestry.com. |

Sounds like you have burn out. Happons frequently to all of us. Don't worry.Haven't been on to much frequently, do you have any idea the county she is buried in or the area or community??You might try emailing the Historical Soc and see if they had done any thing in their cemeteries? If it is real old there is a good chance there no longer is a stone for it.The cem may have a record of the burial, again library may be able to tell you who currently is in charge, or the church may if it is affiliated with one. About a year ago I was looking for a gentleman who was a wheel in the Methodist Church, however I discovered or some one told me, since the church has disbanded about 50-60 years agoi, all of the records went back to the Asbury Coll. down in Ky.They seem to be the major hub for all the Meth Chs in this area,Nursing home, cem for retired ministers, college to train new ones and etc. I found what I was looking for and hope this helps you in some way. I'm thinking maybe writing to all of the cemeteries and asking them if they have Eva buried there. Wonder how many cemeteries there are in Deerfield Township?
It kinda nice to be able to write letters again through snail mail.
OH....I found the two names of people I was wanting to get obits. They are related to Eva. George W. Willis golf course maintance man who died Nov. 30, 1961 and Ruth Willis, his wife died Feb. 22, 1940. Can anyone find obituaries on these two people? They were in Chicago, IL. Deerfield I believe.
Thanks, Cheryl

Since you know the cemetery is Maryhill, why don't you contact the cemetery. The cemeteries I've worked with have given my information over the phone, then sent me a map of the location of the grave. This would be much easier for a volunteer it he or she knew where to go right away. |

After you get the information from the cemetery office, maybe a check with RAOGK will help you further. Here is one message from a volunteer: Cook | Gene | I can cover the area of NW Cook County suburban, and further NW county area. | |
