Sandy,
I know this is not all our trouble with MSN since I wasn't getting any messages for a long time. But I still could go around and get into the site.
There have been times when I have been told that I am not a member, or that my password is incorrect, however.
When that happens, I go to my Tools, tab, then Privacy, then lower the cookies slide bar to allow all of them. It's let me in then every time. Once in, I go back and reset the privacy level. Might someone have been adjusting these functions of your tools?
Also, I was having some jam-ups in my email box, not able to save drafts, and other frustrating things happening to me. I thought maybe since I do so much internet hopping that I could have a backlog of temporary internet files. I deleted them pretty regularly before I got really active so I didn't realize how many I actually had. It took 17 minutes to delete these and the temp files off line, where it used to take seconds. Wouldn't you know, I could go back and save drafts, and got rid of many problems.
In order to delete temporary files, go to your Tools, then for me it is Internet Options. My tab says General..it's where you can set your homepage. Under Temporary Internet files, I click Delete Files. When that is clicked, I get the option to delete the Off-line files, and I usually say yes. I'm not sure what the Delete Cookies might do, so I don't do anything with them. But from time to time I do go into my cookies file and manually delete them.
Let us know if the privacy level change helps.
