i have sent a message looking and have had reply. and thanks a bunch, but  i really need to know if dean marcus is still alive or has other family members. i know he was 23 in 1970 and he lived in mt. vernon. i know he had a prostetic leg. and they called him deano. He dated a woman named Judy Haynes in the years of 67-70. i really need more info.

This would seem to link the Michael Dean Marcus who was in AZ with the person you knew in IL. This was on a website for the Quad City (Moline, IL) area.
 
Perhaps you could find a way to contact one of the kids listed.

They will look up the obituary for you and send you a copy. I searched and it appeared on 10/16/2008.
