St. Vitus Spell for Early Risers

June 15th, 2005

Color of the day: White
Incense of the day: Coriander

Do you have difficulty waking up in the morning? St. Vitus, whose feast day is celebrated today, is the patron saint of the early riser. His emblem is the rooster. For this spell you will need the likeness of a rooster, an orange candle, and an alarm clock. Arrange the rooster, the candle, and the clock on your night stand. Light the candle, and close your eyes, as you say:

St. Vitus,
For whom the angels danced,
Grant me a rested body And an alert mind in the morning.

Visualize the alarm going off at the time you have set. You rise feeling refreshed and ready to begin the day.
