COLORS & their Energies

The Colors that we choose for our personal life & our magical workings are a personal decision based on what speaks to us in a spiritual sense. Have you ever noticed that certain colors put us in certain moods just as certain songs do? What comes to mind when you look at a bright red cardinal...or calm, crystal blue waters...or fluffy, white snow?

Colors have a vibration all their own. When you wear or use a certain color in exudes vibrations to you and everyone who is around you. Too much Red, for instance, can exude too much of a vibration of passion, power, & energy (fire qualities), sometimes resulting in a 'fired-up' atmosphere. The key is to balance & respect the energy of the the colors you use.

Here is a list of colors & what they represent. When you need a specific color to use for

candles, flowers, stones, inks, paint, plackets, sachets, altar cloth, ritual or street clothing; or you are deciphering symbolism from dreams, visions, etc., refer to this list as a guide, keeping in mind your own personal preferences.
