Perfect Love and Perfect Trust: We as people are not perfect but perfect love and perfect trust for the Goddess and God is what this means to me.
Live ye must and let to live: Accept and show that tolerance for all religions is in your nature and in the best interest of all involved.

Form the circle thrice about: The meaning of this is there are three steps to consecrate and protect your circle.
To bind the spell fast every time: Spells are easier to remember when spoken in rhyme therefore less distraction at the time of doing the spell. More concentration can be focused when not trying to remember the words.

Light of eye and soft of touch: Watch but do not stare, harkens to the evil eye in the past stare too long and it was believed you where casting spells on one. The second part basically is common sense listen more than talk you can and will learn more that way.
Honour the Old Ones in name and deed: Everything you do in life should be honorable to You the Gods and the Goddess. Nothing you do to anyone should harm anyone in any way. Older is usually wiser and it pays to remember and honor that.

Deosil by waxing moon: Deosil is a clockwise motion and waxing is when the moon is heading towards full. This is a time to ask for any improvements you feel are necessary to your life.
Widdershins by waning moon: Widdershins is counter-clockwise, and Waning moon is diminishing to dark. This is a time to ask for help with ridding yourself of self destroying things...such as smoking and negativity.

When the Lady's moon is new: The new moon is a time of luck and strength of the Goddess.
When the moon rides at Her peak: This is when the moon is full. It is a high time for magic.

Heed the North wind's mighty gale: Each of the wind directions spells of a change to happen by you or by occurences.
- North is a time for a drastic change or uprising of some kind.
- East is a time to prepare for the new changes to occur.
- South is a time for new hearts desires and change in what your heart requires.
- West a time when families and people will find solice in each other

Nine woods in the cauldron go: All nine woods are representative of something to help us in this life or the next. As homage to the Goddess and acknowledgement of the help given these woods are burned in Beltane fires which each person jumps through the smoke to purify and insure fertility.
Elder be the Lady's tree: This tree is sacred to the Goddess and therefore is a wood not to be burned.

Four times the Major Sabbats mark: This basically means to celebrate the seasonal Sabbats Samhaine - Imbolc - Beltane - Lammas.

Four Times the Minor Sabbats Fall: These are the other four Sabbats - These occur usually mid point through a season. Yule - Ostara - Misdummer or Litha - Mabon or Autumnal Equinox.

Heed ye Flower, Bush or Tree: All life is sacred to Goddess and God therefore any plant or animal used is to be honored for its gifts, as you do this you will be blessed for remembering the sacrifices made by these living beings so that you too may live.

Where the rippling waters go: Form of Divination by casting a stone into the water and reading the ripples.
When you have and hold a need: This is a reminder to use Magick for things that are needed not necessarily for things that are wanted. Think about the gains and consequences of your actions whether on behalf of someone else or yourself.

With a fool no season spend: The company you keep basically, you are seen as your company is seen. If your company is considered less than sensible then so to shall you and your ideals.
Merry Meet and Merry Part: A way to greet others of like mind. A greeting when meeting new people. Merry Meet is glad to meet you and Merry Part is basically glad to have met you.

Mind the threefold law ye should: Basically what you send out shall return to you times three. Whether negative or positive the outcome will be the same.
When misfortune is enow:Turn to your inner self when trouble is near. The answers are there when needed. Also could be to turn to others who know you and your path to help with guidance.

True in love ye must be: This is universal. Love is known as the strongest of all powers therefore should be a vow made with only the truest of intentions.

Eight words the Rede fulfils: This is the most well known section of the Wiccan Rede. The basic concept I feel is to know that all you do will affect others. Therefore know what will occur upon your action. Also do not do anything against a persons will. All parties involved in such acts should know about it. Harm is varied in opinion however my view is anything that will affect another has consequences whether negative or positive so be well aware and ready to accept anything that comes back.

The 13 Goals of a Witch

Know Thyself: If you do not know yourself inside and out, you cannot offer yourself to Goddess or anyone. You need to discover every part of yourself even the dark side you keep hidden. You need to accept all that you are and embrace you for who you are.

Know Your Craft: Know where and what it is you want to be and know. Learn all you can and keep learning. No-One knows it all therefore keep listening and learning from others as well as knowing well what it is that you would pass on to others. Practice also is a key aspect in learning.

Learn: As above learn all you need to learn and keep learning. Not only in the aspect of your chosen religion but in all aspects of life. Knowledge is only one of the very powerful keys to gaining what you need in life to be complete in your own mind.

Have Patience: This is probably one of the hardest things to achieve. Patience at all times in any situation is nearly impossible however the more patience you have within the more you have with others. All situations are dealable if you can master this.

Apply Knowledge with Wisdom: Apply all you know in all aspects of your life. A an example when you send out a negative you will recieve it back x3. Be smart about all decisions you make as you. With Knowledge comes Wisdom and vice versa, use it thats why they are interchangeable.

Achieve Balance: All you do with out balance is only confusion.
Just an example - Your job is going great with 90% of your effort - you may wonder however why your marriage is dissolving. Remember that all things in your life are important not that one must be done for the other to work. Apply equal energies to being happy as you do to surviving. One is nothing without the other.

Keep Your Words in Good Order: Always be sure of what you are saying. Speak truthfully, think clearly and carefully however when you know the truth will cause harm. Know yourself well enough to know whether you are the person to be saying anything against another. Never lie or or say things in anger that you may wish you hadn't.

Keep Your Thoughts in Good Order: Always be sure of what you are thinking. Always be sure to keep an open mind to others opinions but be true to your own thoughts. Never think ill of anyone you are not perfect and therefore have no right to judge. Know what you need fully and correctly before you speak.

Celebrate Life:Fully enjoy all that you are and have. This is the most amazing gift do not deny the goddess her worship for the life that she has given you. The trees, plants, water, the air you breathe the very ground you walk upon are beautiful gifts enjoy them all.

Attune with the Circles of the Earth: Attune yourself with the very thing that aids you in life. With every season comes a change a new chance, take advantage of these seasons to fully appreciate this. Decorate your home to celebrate this. Talk a walk outside in the sunshine on a warm summer day, dance in the warm spring rain, build a snowman in the snow , kick a pile of leaves and watch them float in the air in the fall. Not only on these days but all through the seasons enjoy and marvel at the wonder of life.

Keep Yourself Healthy: Healthy body, healthy mind. This is very important. Eat three good meals in the day. Eat the proper size meal for your body type this will help you to stop eating between meals. Excercise will help in this also. If the mind and body are in balance then life itself is much more balanced.

Meditate: This is a way to balance the mind. The time you use to meditate is time to take your mind and innerself away from the stresses of the day. If you can learn to control this one section of your day to give your mind a rest the rest of your day will fall easier into place.

Honor the Goddess and the God: This is to me the only thing that should really be automatic. To respect oneself and the life that has been given to all around you is to honor the God and Goddess. The gift of life that has been given is a great one and cannot be repaid in any form other than respect and recognition.

Wicca in my own words:

Wicca is a Religion, followed by those who believe that all things have an essence a life. All things are tied to one another an example of this would be A bird dies falls to the ground becomes one with the earth. The earth feeds the worm that lives in the ground. The worm feeds the bird and so the circle continues. The worm however can survive the bird and goes on to aerate the ground which helps the rain and air get to plant roots, the plants feed the people and animals. The animals further sustain the people and our bodies eventually become once again part of the earth.
Wiccan Religion is however so much more than the circle. It is the belief in Goddess and God depending on the individual. For explanation in this essay I will refer to Goddess as that is how I relate. The God was and is a part divided from the Deity herself. There fore I use Goddess as a whole. Each school of thought has its own vision of Deity. The whole concept of Diety is limited by our minds and our teachings. She is so vast that we can only grasp a part of the idea. Therefore I use a visual or mental idea of what I think she is so that I can relate a little more clearly. The only rule truly that a Wiccan lives by is "An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will" Wiccans believe that all is acceptable as long as no one is hurt or harmed by your actions. An exapmle of this would be that your best friend asks you for a spell as she wants a guy to fall in love with her even though he is with another. This kind of thing is unacceptable as it is interfering with anothers will. A spell or action that would cause problems for yourself or others is also not acceptable practice.

Wicca is my Path:

I believe Wicca to be my path as I have always felt a connection to nature. I also remember when I was younger believing so strongly in the presence of fae amongst other things. I was very religious as a child, although I never felt completely sure in what I was learning, I kept wanting to tell the minister that he had it all wrong. I never did tell him but I never got over the feeling either. Once I was in a loving marriage and had my children, I decided it was time to follow my heart and educate myself on other paths. I looked into a few different religions all of them have aspects of interest, in following up on the parts of each I found to be of interest I ended up following the Wiccan path. Each religion I found had aspects which directly related to the now chosen path. It was not an intended path, I did not go searching to become Wiccan it found me and led me to where I now feel I belong.
