A DISASTER KIT FOR YOUR CATS
With so many areas being plagued by torrential downpours,
landslides, earthquakes and tornadoes, every cat owner
should be prepared for the worst and keep a Disaster Kit
on hand. The following items should be part of every basic
kit.
Copies of all documents for each cat (i.e. licenses,
vaccination records and/or medications)
One gallon of fresh water
Pet first aid spray and gauze wraps
A small bag of cat food
A strong leash and collar that won't slip over your cat's
head--preferably a harness
Spare pet name tags
a small bag of kitty litter and a litterpan
A non-spill water dish
An animal carrier (i.e. Vari Kennel)
Favorite toys and treats
