...To the Kranch in the early morn.. I get to spend 10 days with my extended family of deer/horse's/dogs, cat (s) pals for ten days along with my crew of dogs.. It's not snowing there!...yet, lol.. For some reason the weather always turns to from good to worse even in the dead of summer while I'm there.. The surounding neighbors sometimes curse me when they see my truck arrive, lol.. Kels' is off, Moonie has arrived.. brace yourselves!  Get that firewood split! and ready to to start up the ol' woodstove...

The neighbors should be glad to see you...it makes them get off their hineys and get prepaired.

Hope all goes well for you and the beasties.

Lol, thanks for all your well wishes this time out. alas clamity rules again. (I'm getting too old for this shit) Calypiso (horse) was down 2 days before Kels left with what was a bladder stone clogged in his penis (ouch!) Kels managed to get it out, a marble sized stone.. (had her horse vet out to check in that aftermath)  and he was fine until this morn when another stone was clogging that all important channel to piss, so down he went again with this yet another stone.. ( why does this kinda shit hapen on a Sunday?) Put a call in to Kels, nada, she wasn't anserwing her cell at 7 a.m. .. I started making vet calls to her regular horse vet but to no avail.. started calling other vets that I knew made house/horse calls, but got no answer there...finaly went over to a neighbor here...she called her horse vet and by God, this saint was here within 40 minutes..We got Cal up and Scott (vet) did an on the spot check..walked him back to where his truck was parked and the process began of removing this malt ball sized stone that was lodged so tightly up there he had to used hemostats to get it out... not a pretty process.. lol.. you could see his instant relief even tho he was drugged to the hilt.. and buckets of piss finally set free.. It tuckered me out to the max, but really set my heart ino a soar when he did the chowing and water drinking after he came out of his stupor... Next step will an ultra sound to see if there may be any more stones up there.. Kels regular vet may come this week for the onsight scan so I don't have to haul him (if I encounter anymore probs with him in the next few days).. geeeze..good thing is all the deer dog cat kids are doing fine..but, O Gawd, I still have 7 days left here... I'm going to bed..lolol..
