What is copyright and what isn't? That has been my quest to try and find out so I could inform this group what we can and what we can not be posted on the message boards. We have 2 kinds of copyrights that I am talking about that we use in this group. We use either Link-Ware from other web sites for some of our background pages and at the bottom of each of those pages is a link back to that peculiar web site where we got the permission to use those backgrounds, images and we have also written to each of those Artist to get their permission to use their art which is also located on the ?Artist Permission page. The second type of copyrights that I am going to be talking about, we have all seen before on the message boards of other groups of people using certain graphics from things like Flintsones, Garfield, M&M's and Warner Brothers, and are not to be used at all in this group. Below we will give you a "small" list of what I personally know that is a No - No straight from MSN contact and at the end of this page we will also give you a link to a much better page that explains in great detail what is No - No and what is ok to use at times. Please be aware, that once the group Elder (Mangers) are made aware that someone has posted a Copyright No - No Picture, Gif and/or Clip Art on the message board.... it will be promptly deleted without warning or explanation! The Following is what I know is not allow on MSN groups and is copyrighted by their respected companies.
