Here is the URL to Microsofts Critical Update site. You will find the
latest security patches for your pc and bulletins regarding known issues
(usually problems) on various things. I suggest you check this site
regularly for any new bulletins and patches available.
This link is to Microsofts SECURITY UPDATE website. Check this often also.
This link is for the Microsoft WINDOWS UPDATE website. You can find
the latest updates for IE EXPLORER and most versions of windows.
BE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT OPERATING SYSTEM (version of windows) YOU HAVE AND WHAT VERSION OF IE EXPLORER YOU HAVE BEFORE DOWNLOADING ANY FIXES, PATCHES or UPGRADES !!
To find what version of windows your system is using, click on START>
SETTINGS> CONTROL PANEL at the top of the control panel window click on
HELP> ABOUT WINDOWS this will provide you with the version you are
currently using. When at the WINDOWS UPDATE site......look for any
upgrades available for your version of windows.
To find what version of IE EXPLORER you are using....In any browser
window click on HELP>ABOUT INTERNET EXPLORER it will tell you what
version you are currently using, and in some cases there will be a
link provided there for you to upgrade. You should at least be up to
5.5 by now. I would recommend 6.0.
All of these links have been tested and are known to be a good
reliable source of information.
