Tagging Policies for the Love Pub The Love Pub will allow tags following the below guidelines. 1. All tags must clearly and legibly show the copywrite of the original artist. If a tag consists of more than one artist works, then all copywrites must be clearly and legibly seen. 2. The person making the tube or tag, while nice to know, is NOT the original artist. Their individual copywrite, or watermark, does not count as a legal copywrite on the tag. 3. If the original artist is unknown, then the http: url to the site where image was copied needs to be displayed. In some cases the original artist asks for this in using their works anyway. Some artist want the link imbedded within the image. So that you go to their site when clicking the image. The use of those tags are prohibited by Love Pub rules. 4. If you use a image that has no known artist or photographers name associated with it, then you will give credit to the publishing company. For example ©Time/Life. ©National Geographic. 5. All tags are subject to the normal Love Pub rules of no pornography. Exceptions to the above rules would be if you took a photograph and made your tag and used that. However we would recommend you putting your mark on it as well such as ©ScreenName If there is enough of a question about if you can use a tag or not, it would probably be best not to use the tag. Management is not responsible for approving or checking your tags. If an individual manager agrees to do so for individuals, it is because they are being nice....not because it's assumed to be managements responsibility. If one agrees to check for you, be patient as it is very time consuming and it will NOT be a high priority in a managers life to check these things out. It is the members responsibility to know and understand these rules. A member who continually post tags not complying with the above guidelines may have their membership un-joined or banned with no warning.
