Arnold Crowther 1909-1974 Arnold Crowther was an Artist who painted Pagan and Witchcraft themes, he was also a stage magician and a ventriloquist.Arnold met Gerald Gardner just before the outbreak of World War2 and they became friends.He was later initiated into Gardner's tradition by Patricia Dawson, whom Arnold later married.Patricia herself had been initiated by Gardner in 1960. Arnold claimed to have arranged an introdution between Gerald Gardner and Aleister Crowly sometime in 1946, Arnold also introduced Patricia to Gardner. Arnold and Patricia wrote two books-"The Secrets of Ancient Witchcraft with the Witches Tarot" and "The Witches Speak". After they were married Patricia went on to write several influential books on Withcraft under the name Patricia Crowther.                      Patricia Crowther
