Welcome Merry Meet, and Welcome to Pagan Pathways. My name is Jo, msn nickname Witching Puppy, some of you might recognise my name/me from another msn group called the White Witch Coven. I have been an assitant manager for that group for some time now and in the absence of the Manager have created the pages and kept it going. Pagan Pathways is a sister/backup group to the White Wich Coven, so some things will be the same but I have added new pages and some of my own art work, I also hope to add some of my own interests about places I have visited as one of the things I enjoy doing is going to sacred sites such as stone circles and burial chambers. I have used the term Pagan rather than Witch or Wiccan as the word Pagan covers these and many other paths too. Some people prefer to call themselves Pagan but still have interests and/or follow Witchcraft or Wicca. For example: Wiccans are Pagan but not all Pagans are Wiccan. Pagan Originally from the Latin Paganus meaning country dweller. Today it is used as a general term for the followers of Wicca and other polyheistic, magick embracing religions. Many Pagans base their beliefs and practices on a connection to nature and a divinity within all living things. Pagans are not satanists, dangerous or evil. Sometimes the word Neo-Pagan is used, meaning- New Pagan- a member, follower, or sympathiser of one of the newly formed Pagan religions which are now spreading throughout the world.
