The Pendulum     The pendulum is another tool which contacts the "Psychic Mind". When used for divination the Pendulum is asked questions to which the answer is Yes or No. Many types of beautiful pendulums made from Gem Stones can be bought, but almost any weight suspended on a string or thread will act as a pendulum, as long as it moves freely. Although when buying one made from a gem stone, you may find that you are drawn to a certain kind of stone and will find that when you try the other kinds out, only the one you were drawn to, works best for you, I myself have an Amethyst Pendulum. But you can make your own and this will make it even more "yours", such as a Holed stone that you have found, hung on thread. Before you use your pendulum you need to "set" it, to find out the way in which it will respond. First hold the string in your Strong Hand (this is the hand that you write with), hold it very steady and then think of a question that has the strongest "Yes" answer. Then watch the way the pendulum moves, whether it goes back and forth, left and right or round in a circle, this movement will be your "Yes". Stop the pendulum or even ask it to stop and then clear your mind. Then repeat this process with the strongest "No" you can think of, again watching the pendulums movement, you now have your "No". Now you can begin to ask your pendulum questions, remembering to phraze them in such a way, that the answer can only be Yes or No. If you get a movement which id neither Yes or No, then the answer might be "Maybe" or you are not meant to know.   Click Above To Go To Witches Runes
