Speaking of recurring dreams....

 

I was friends with a guy about two years ago. He was shy. Even though we saw each other in person daily, we would have lengthy conversations via email daily. I felt a strong connection to him but he had a girlfriend. When his relationship with her ended, it seemed he broke up with me as well. He wouldn't email me, wouldn't talk to me, barely looked at me.

 

He moved away. We emailed a few more times, but very briefly. He moved back temporarily but again wouldn't look at me or talk to me, in fact was very cold to me.

 

This is really about a dream, promise. Several times since he left again, I've dreamt that he apologized, we reconsiled our friendship and all is well again. But the apology isn't always a direct apology. It's like it's been a series. First he wrote me a lenghty apology letter (on red paper, it that means anything) that began with a quote I've never heard before. A few after that, he shyly and wordlessly - well, just acted friendly again. In the most recent dream I got the courage to ask him WHY?? And he told me it was because I really put myself out there (????).

 

In the waking world, we still don't have contact. I won't email him anymore out of fear that he won't respond because he hasn't responded in so long.
