| <LABEL id=HbSession SessionId="859148203"></LABEL> Hello Everyone at Spirit Keepers!!! I'm so happy to be with you guys. Although I joined recently, I had a feeling this would be an enjoyable experience, and so it has. To start of with, I'm a single 40 yr. old female from British Columbia (the Southern portion). I started my spiritual quest about five yrs. ago without even realizing that this was the Journey I was starting. It began with a most unlikely visitor from England (whom I met on the Transit system) ... and later as we chatted I found out that he had a temporary residence on my very street. From there he invited me to come by for tea. My first visit revealed to me that I had in fact met a most extraordinary man (in his early 50's with the wisdom of 100+), a very Old Soul indeed. This man was quiet spoken, kind, totally unassuming and gave of an energy of love that I had never known before. He seemed to know things - intuitively that seemed almost impossible -- but later proved very accurate and real. When the time came, and he decided to go back to England, he indicated that he wanted to give away a couple of boxes of books that he said he wouldn't be taking back (as he said he'd already read them hundreds of times ... and were now embedded in his memory). I agreed, and took them home without much inspection. We parted company and I wished him well. They ended up in my basement for three and a half years before ... well, one day I just woke up and in my mind's eye I saw, remembered his face (his smiling, knowing eyes); it was then that I jumped up like a mad woman and raced down to the basement ... to find the books!!!! It was such a strong impulse; sitting near the top of the first pile I sorted through were these fantastic books (and fairly old, all published through Corgi books in England): The Rampa Story by Lobsang Rampa, Wisdom of the Ancients, by the same author, and The Expansion of Awareness by Arthur W. Osborn. Without fully understanding why, I almost feverishly read through the books in the order mentioned. With the first two, I was astonished to find that I felt my friends very strong presence (while reading the books); at times I was so emotional, I was moved to tears!!! This was the start of my adventure. I must admit that at times, my Journey was interrupted by unforeseen events dealing with my parents, illnesses, studies, and other quests ... but always, I had firmly kept this person's memory in my mind. About a month ago I had the great fortune of finding a wonderful book about Edgar Cayce, titled: Edgar Cayce: My Life as a Seer (by A. Robert Smith) c.1997. This book more than any other before, seemed to propel me further on my Journey. Right now I'm on my Holidays before my 3rd year at school starts ... and I'm using the time to catch up on personal readings, writing, poetry, and other things I've been wanting to pursue. I feel so enthusiastic these days, as I feel that we are in a Millenium which has so much to offer us ... as long as we stay focused on those things that truly matter. [I think this has been more than enough for an introduction ... now I'll read up on some of the other members!]. Thanks for allowing me to share. Blessings, Whitewolf  |

WhiteWolf What a great story! The transit system huh?? We just never know when or where those Earth Angels are gonna come acallin do we :) That is so cool. He sounds like an amazing man. Astrong man. I can feel his energy through your words. Thank you for that too...is a nice experience :) I adore Edward Cayce. What an amazing journey he had...and we have the pleasure of sharing his wisdoms. *It's a good thing* I am so happy you are here with us darlin...(((((hugs))))) I am looking forward to seeing your works too. Whitewolf Sure glad I saw your thread here. It is so very inspiring! Your whole story of the consequences leading you to the discovery of another level of awareness. I appreciate what you say about the books you read. Some you mentioned were kind of my firsts ones too that lead me to travel my path. I was just in my early 30's then...now 30 years later, I am still reading and discovering...it never ends especially when we have a great thirst for learning. Love to you Sortty |

I wonder if he was sending any transendental thoughts your way at the time when you pounced upon the literature??? Can you communicate with him? Just want to say THANKS to ALL OF YOU that have responded to my Post -- ALL ELEVEN OF YOU!! I don't know why this is ... but my Number "Eleven" (Which happens to be my "Life Path Number" according to ancient 'Numerology' keeps coming up in so many unexpected ways!!! ..... It's really rather amazing. I'll say a little something about this in my next Post coming up ... jsut bear with me a while please!! p.s.: "Little Crow" ... Whitewolf, Have you read There is a River, by Thomas Sugre? It's about Edgar Cayce's readings on the topic of reincarnation and it's very good, probably the best thing I've ever read on the subject. The Sleeping Prophet, a biography of Cayce, tells about his life and how he came to discover his abilities. I gained a lot from a Lobsang Rampa book called The Third Eye. The things he tells about his experiences as a Tibetan monk are fascinating. I think you'd like it. |

Dear Windsister (and others) ... Was just reading your last post from last night ... and I must say WS, that you truly are a Sister in Spirit!!!! [probably why I put you on my Messenger Contact List about 4 wks ago!]. Everything you said about the book on Edgar Cayce and Lobsang Rampa is so amazing because I've read 3 books on Cayce so far (except the one u mentioned) ... which I'm about to get very soon ... the one I have which is quite related to what u mentioned is titled: "Life and Times of Edgar Cayce: His Readings on Reincarnation" (can't locate it right now ... so I'm not sure about the suffix part?), and I happen to have about 7 or 8 pocket books by Lobsang Rampa (these ones were given to my by a passing stranger 4.5 yrs. ago!! I started to read them only 3 yrs. ago; started with: "The Rampa Story", followed by "Wisdom of the Ancients", and then "The Third Eye" ... and more recently I started (but didn't finish) the "You Forever". .... ironically, the man who gave it to me told me that I would start reading them as 'my necessity would bring about the necessary conditions' (only now do I realize how right he was!). He was originally from India ... lived in Tibet for one year (to study meditation) .... learned about Astral Travel ... and came to Canada for only 1 yr. ... met him accidentally and he gave me 'these and other books' just prior to moving back to England. I really treasure them ... because he seemed to 'sense' how important they would be for my spiritual growth later on!! P.S.: As of one month ago, I am now a member of the Edgar Cayce Foundation here in Canada ... and will shortly be participating in their monthly 'group meetings'. Love, Whitewolf |
