The Higher Self

The High Priestess symbolizes the higher self, destiny and guidance. Together with the aspects of the Magician, it is an important key to manifesting intent.
Balance and the Higher Self
The High Priestess is a reflection of the Magician. The Magician is straightforward and deals with directing the energies of conscious intent. The High Priestess possesses a more subtle energy originating from what may sometimes be considered unconscious and subconscious energy and most recognized as intuition. The Magician and the High Priestess are a necessary pairing, similar to the pairing of the sun warming and nourishing the earth, and the moon giving earth its cycles and lighted nights.
Just as the Magician must direct intent, the High Priestess must tap into the less obvious energies of the self. These functions work together as importantly as male and female, night and day, and projection and reception. The High Priestess represents spiritual enlightenment and illumination. The Magician is the will that works with the High Priestess power completing the ability to manifest.
What are the gateways to these inner places? Entrances are found by training the subconscious, remembering dreams, astral traveling, tapping into past lives, experiencing the "dark nights of the soul," happenings in life that push past known barriers, experiencing dread or delight, light given or taken by others, communications with the other side, and ecstasy. These situations traverse the abyss from conscious to the less conscious states.
Destiny and guidance are part of the path. The High Priestess is usually shown central between two objects, pillars, or stones, showing the possibility of a central way. The center represents the potential for uniting with conscious intelligence, a step towards less innocence with the hidden worlds, and awareness of the Divine Mind.

Enheduanna is the Akkadian High Priestess, who lived ca. 2300-2225 B.C. and is reputed to be the author of the first known, recorded poetry. Her clay tablets are written in cuneiform- the first form of written language.
Remembering Destiny
I had this dream a few years back and it was about Atlantis. I was a part of it. Now before I tell my question, I would like to see how much everyone knows so I don't confuse them with the question. Simple enough, I think.

I seriously believe that Atlantis was real, and could possibly still exist within another realm of reality.
You could have been having a flashback about a previous life. But without the actual details it is hard to accurately or even semi-accurately interpret the dream.

Here is the dream, the best way I can explain it. It is the final battle of Atlantis while it was still in this plane. They were battling a evil that was from there home plane where ever that is. In this battle, I am the 7th high mage and helped defined the city from the evil. I know how it ends but I do not know why I was the 7th wizard and would like to know why

Hi Elad. Thank you, for telling what you could remember of the dream. I too was there. Were you wearing a special robe with pictures of planets? Did you see a blond headed little girl there? I was one of the mages children. I was wearing a special necklace, and a head band with a blue stone in the middle of it. The necklace also had a blue stone.
Being the 7th mage was a very special honor. You had the ability to see things that are beyond, see things for what they were. To most these enemies looked normal, but you could see their evilness. Does any of this ring a bell?

Yes it rings a bell and there is more to the 7th mage then just what you described. But that is for another time... I do remember you I think I almost ran over you too!

| "Mind intent is the root of methodlessness." My chi gong instructor is translating some old chinese texts and threw this translation out at us last nite. For me it struck a chord right away in terms of mind/body/spirit connection. I'm not going to explain this further...I just threw it out there for you to think about. There are 8 ppl in my class and all 8 of us came up with a different perspective on what this meant. We also discussed that mind intent is the combination of wisdom intent and emotional intent. In chinese teaching, intent comes partially from the heart (emotions). I have always thought of intent as coming from the mind or will but it makes sense that one's emotional state is a part of the total energy of intent. For example, if someone hits you, you may react (emotionally) with anger (hit back), or you may react (wisdom) with the mind (this guy is twice my size better for me to walk away)...but the combination of both is what actually give you the strongest intent and the most balanced action...yes i am angry but what is the wisest thing to do with that anger....in this way we can use the powerful emotion of anger as a tool. And finally my teacher said this...."There is no time limit on being natural". Well, my brain hurts this morning as much as my back so i know it was a good class....lol.
