Lessons of Intent
by You

Introduction

Are you a Magnus?  Have you ever thought about something and made it happen?  Do you often think of ideas, and not follow up on them?  How about partial success�?nbsp; Do you find you always get part way and then go on to something else?   Do you successfully meet your goals less often than you would like to?  This exploration is for you if you would like to learn more about focusing your intent. 

You have come to this challenge for a lesson.  You create the background, learning, and situation.  As you go through these tasks, you will create your own learning.

Suggested background reading before you begin this learning is Kellog’s Balance Series:

Takes as much time as you need to review the Balance Series.  When you are ready plese being with the first lesson.  To get the most out of this self-exploration, you need to read one day at a time.  Do not read ahead, as it will spoil some of the discoveries you will make along the way.  Happy Travels!

If you have one week to use your intent to obtain something that you really need, and that is a reasonable expectation within your range of power, what would you focus on?

Right now I am warm, dry, full, not dying of disease, loved, amused, have a computer! Etc.  I'd say that my needs are met and that all else are simple wants, and goodness knows I have gone with out amusement and a computer and a change of clothes and healthcare and the like, so I must figure there isn't anything that I need to focus on... Or am I missing the point here?

We did not get to the point so far Solace, but if you don't have anything to focus on that is ok.  It can be something as simple as gaining more concentration to do certain tasks, or something more complex such as changing a life habit.

Humm..a week eh?

Ok.
 
Goal�?try my new wings of intuition�?This is need only cause it is an aspect of who I am�?My empathic self how to get there...  Silence time�?At least 4 times of day of silence�?focus jump�?ask hubby to be a sitting duck... and if he feels me to say hey practice, practice... and more practice.
 
Center jump... that shrinking within in meditation.  I feel it inward others may expand�?but it is a necessary tool for me to astral�?nbsp;  and I have meditated but haven’t jumped in lately like I could before�?takes center then jump back...  ggesh New Mexico Psychic Circus Hoop style.

Now  the other thing I think I would do instead of that would be to sleep really late put the TV in my room get all the kids in bed with ice cream and popcorn and watch scary movies and Mary Poppins and read a really old book of mine from my childhood to the kids....  Then I would kick them all out their friends houses and hubby and I go dancing�?I need that.  Then go to red lobster...  and rent hotel room with a Jacuzzi tub and...   well none of your business.    Hehehehe...

Oh! And one more thing I need...    I need to move to Washington State and feel the energy of the cascades again�?nbsp; but that would take longer then a week... and my man in uniform has to get that one arranged

Oh well.  Dream the good dream...Yes Kellog! I will work on the hard stuff... But I am getting at least the ice cream

I have something to work on again.  I left one contract for another, and there is some sort of delay.  I am pounding the employment pavement again!  My goal:  To improve my employment situation.

Day 2
Focusing on One Aspect

Are you ready!?
 
You did part one, which is selecting your task...  almost.  Now lets put the finishing touches on it. 

Select one aspect to concentrate on.  If you selected more than one goal, pare it down.  For instance, if your goal is world enlightenment and spelling, you may want to use spellchecker for now and just work on your first objective.
 
Examine your goal.  Is your goal obtainable???  Is it something that can be attained with your own actions, abilities, and power?  Have you thought it all the way through?  If not, break it down into smaller steps and rewrite your goal as the positive first step.  For instance, it might not be reasonable for me to set a goal of making seven figures.  (Especially not in this economy.       :-p) This may not be within my abilities and talents unless I am really Madonna or Brittany Spears.  If it were my goal to make money like them, a good first goal would be: 

Learn to sing.

For one week, my goal might be reformulated as:

Sign up for singing lessons and start practicing.
 

Make the objective specific.  How will you know when you have reached your goal?  If my goal is obtaining employment, I will know I have reached my goal by actually getting confirmation of employment, re-confirmation of my delayed contract, or simply more nibbles for employment opportunities.

If you are ready to begin, re-examine and re-formulate your first goal if necessary.  Examine your goal, and decide it is specific, attainable, and a single goal to concentrate on.

Day 3

Check For Those Not So  Hidden Obstacles

Do you know exactly what your stumbling block is but you cannot face it?  Do you fail to point at your weakness because you prefer to not give it up?  Why settle for a flaw in your plan.  Identify those factors that you have failed to remove so far from your life.  Get going on your fresh start!
