Day 8
WELCOME TO THE OFFICIAL FIRST DAY!!!!

Some individuals have reached their goal already during the trial formulation week.  A round of applause for you!  Others have had a chance to try a few methods and also examine their personal process a little more.  For anyone who has to reformulate their goals, need or want to start fresh, or have a secondary goal in mind, this is your new beginning!  If everything is fine, keep on going!

REMEMBER...

* Have a workable plan.
* See past the plan to consider the effects the change will have on your life and others.
* Spend some time visualizing your process and the desired outcome daily.
* Take steps towards your goal every day.
* Don't let negative thoughts interfere with your process.
* If a barrier is encountered, don't get discouraged or excited.
* Share your goals and successes with others.

Are you encountering obstacles? Are you sailing along?  Come to the message board and give us a few words! For anyone wishing to read a few words on intent and what it is about, here is a link to The Magician.  It is the beginning of  Part Three of the Path series.

I wish all of you the very best for your hopes and dreams.

Day 9
Watch for Signs of Blocking Your Own Goal

Sometimes blockages occur that you may not recognize at first.  Doubt, fear, sadness, or irritation may set in.  Someone mentioned to me that they were afraid that they might get the job they wanted because of the changes they would have to make in their lives.  They also mentioned that they were also afraid that they may not get the position.  Accept change.  Don't fear the very outcome that you are attempting to attain.  You already made the decision that this is what you want! Don't fight against your own goals.

I hope your shoulder is feeling better Solace.  What is going on out there?  You guys sure are quiet all of a sudden!
---Evonne

Hehehe...we are quietly focussing on our goals
---Laurelovely

That is a good thing!
---Evonne

Well, I decided that I have been enjoying my IBE's (in body experiences) so I will gracefully withdraw from the OBE for now. Good luck to everyone else with your goal seeking I guess you could say I forfeit for now lol.
---Lighthart

Day 10
The Ghost of Intent Past

Some of the ideas that hold us back in our lives are the ideas that come from our personal histories.  Perhaps you have dealings with this particular intent in the past.  Perhaps you were very successful in this area previously.  The missed successes in our past can set up an emotional barrier to intent because of fear of failing again.  However, it is interesting that success, once lost, can also be a barrier.  People have difficulty letting go of past successes and failures and starting again.

Let go of the past.  Look towards a successful future.  Don't repeat the patterns that you are not happy with.  Be able to start again and be thankful for a future that holds a potential of positive successes for you.

It is probably good a good idea for you to continue to feel your success Lighthart!  Keep that good feeling going.  You go girl!

I am glad to hear that your shoulder is doing so well too Solace!  You really did well with that barrier of being injured.  You walked right around that, didn't you!
---Evonne

An Old man once said "If you can catch a fly with chopsticks, you can achieve anything."
I shall catch the Fly with my Chopsticks

   ?
So does this mean you scored some Tylenol or what?
---Evonne

needle drops*
Sure...  meanz whatever ya want; cause I flip more Tylenol than ya flip jpegs and fonts.

Subject: INNER PEACE....

I am passing this on to you-------It is definitely working for me.

Life is always a fight with the devil, isn't it. Here's one for you.

I think I have found inner peace. I read an article that said the way to achieve inner peace is to finish things I had started. Today I finished 2 bags of potato chips, a cherry pie, a fifth of tequila and a small box of chocolate candy. I feel better already. Feel free to pass this along to those who need it.

Got that one today...  :-o

So I am finding some success today.  The contract I thought I had lost called, and people have been returning my calls right away, and interviews scheduled, and support from other people and...   etc.  Along with the good feeling of getting somewhere, I have a feeling that a bit of bewildered emotion is trying to sneak in for some reason.  I have to go lope around with good feelings now.   I also have to stay alert to keep this breeze blowing nicely!

Day 11
Personal Power and Comfort Zones

Some lessons are more difficult than others.  Please read Kellog Bluff's RESPONSE on the Series Question board.  It is a great lesson. (Click on the linked word RESPONSE.)

Life has a way of changing personal meaning of the many things we hear, say and do.  I am changing.  My meanings are changing.  What I want is changing.  What I hear, see, and feel is different.  I see things in old words as something completely new.   Is your smell and taste of life changing?

Here is something that is amusing me with new meaning.  Remember that old chant?

I scream
You scream
We all scream for ice cream?

So, ask yourself, are you screaming for ice cream?

Day 12
Walk Your Talk

Are you living the change?  Walk the change with your mind and see how good you feel in your vision. Hold that feeling and take the feeling with you in everything you say and do.  See whom you are as becoming what you want to be and continuing to grow.  Keep on visualizing your positive outcome so when the opportunity arises, you will be able to walk right into your own vision of change.

Day 13
Don't Sweat the Small Stuff.

Some of you may be asking, "What is the deal with the visualization and thought stuff?  Isn't it good enough to just take action?  Visualization is about the subconscious mind.  On the outside you may be taking action, but your subconscious may not be able to see what you are trying to do as positive.

Did you ever have anything really good happen to you?  Was it ever so darn good that you knew there was something wrong because you did not deserve it?  Or did you ever want something and have been within reach of it and not accepted it?  Visualization is training yourself with successful actions so that you are ready in your mind when the time is at hand.

Day 14
Building Your Path

We have a highway here in Connecticut.  They built it years ago.  For us innocent folks around here driving around on it, we thought it was done.  But it was not.

Over the years we see that the road has to be maintained.  Sometimes it needs major repair.  Due to changes is travel and population, some access may need to be added or changed.  Here is my point.  By the time the highway crew gets to one end of the highway keeping it in order, they have to start at the beginning of it again or get interrupted with repairs somewhere in between.  Sometimes they come up with a completely new surface material that is better.  Sometimes it is not as good as they thought in practice, and they go back to the old surface material.   Path is like that.

Today is the last day of the challenge.  Tomorrow is your own assessment of your performance.

Take care.

Day 15
A Chance for Assessment

How did you do?  What would you do differently?  Remember to keep on going!  Build on your first steps.  Observe what you have learned and continue observing. Sharpen your weapons and keep your tools in good working order.  Willpower and intent are skills you will need for your lifetime.

This is your opportunity for final feedback.

Was there anything else you needed?
Is there any future action you would like to take on the board with this subject?
Was anything unclear?
Did you feel any information was inaccurate?
Are there any points that need greater emphasis?

As you can see, you had a week. If you did the best you could do at this time and learned, you are successful for the purposes of this project. Did you move in the direction of your goal? In order get to your desired goal may you may need more practice.  If you are reading this you probably have many weeks to improve upon this success.

Thank you for your participation in this challenge.  Your feedback and comments have been and are valuable.  I learned a great deal.  I sincerely hope you did too.

Hello Evonne,

I'm sure this project wasn't easy to take on...and keep going... with the limited feedback you did get.  I wanted to personally thank you for your efforts and let you know that I did reach my goal.  Your tips and daily motivation were inspiring and just seemed to hit when i needed it.  Next time, i will set a tougher goal and maybe a longer time frame.  It's a great exercise for focusing and achieving results.  Thanks,
---Laurel

That is great that you met your goal Laurel! Congratulations! I thank you for your nice note as well.  I met my goal too.  I started working again on Saturday!  Yayyyyyyyy!
---Evonne

Woooo Hoooooooooooo!!!! Congrats!
