I you do not wish to have all mail from the group delivered to your email address and have chosen this when you joined.
The correct method of quickly finding your Message or Mailbox is go to the message and at the top of the first message will be the words, "Send replies to my Email" if you click on that, the messages from just that thread will be delivered to your email address.
You may choose this for as many subjects as you require.
