Dear friends in cleaning up my computer which  had slowed to a crawl I found some folders with Coats of Arms and Surname Buckles, If you would like to use one for either your Avatar or perhaps your mailbox let me know  the Surname and I will see if it is in one of the many folders.
Tac your request on to this message

Hi Bleggy
Does the Coat Of Arms have to be your current name ?Or does it just have to be one of your family names from the past ?

I guess my maiden name may have a Coat of Arms not sure about my married name .I'm certain my mother's family has one .

I've been told to wear the family Tartan you should belong to that family ,so I'm unsure what one does to be correct or perhaps it doesn't matter ?

I do know my married name has a Clan ,but once again not sure if that is the same as the Family Crest ?If you could advise me I'd be happy if you have access to one of mine I'd be happy to use one of them .

Thanks Genie (junieith)

Hi Genie,
A married lady may use her married name or her maiden name,  you may even use your mothers maiden name if you wish and some people use a combination of the 3 although a combination is usually the 2 names Maiden and Married on a crest one on each side, or you may even find the meaning of the names combine them and make a brand new crest for the family, using items that pictorialy describe the names. A new crest may even be presented to the Heraldic board for acceptance as official, but it has been a very long time since one was accepted, as a new one must be original and most combinations are already in use.
So if you would like to tell me the names you have I will see what I can find.

Hi Bleggy

Thank you for giving me that information .The main names would be

YOUNG ,STEWART,McALPINE ,

My Grandmother was an OBRIEN ,but maybe that's too distant .

I'd be interested if you happen by chance to have any of those names .

Regards Genie 8025

Hi Genie,
I have YOUNGE, STEWART and OBRIEN.
I was going to put them in this message for you to have a look at but I'm having constant problems now with MSN and attachments. Would you like one to use for your Avatar and one for your mailbox picture?

your mail box has the buckle for the Stewart family here is the Crest or coat of arms for the O'Brien name, well after trying a few times I cannot upload the picture to this message I cannot copy and paste either so I will go and see if i can put it in a message in your new mailbox on Aimoo, for you to save to your computer then go to edit your profile and upload it to the Avatar section and press submit

Hi Bleggy,

Do you have PALMER & STEEL? Could they be put together as PALMER STEEL. If not one or other is also good.

Anniepannie,

There is a lot of variables with these 2 names could you tell me from which son of the 1st Palmer and the 1st Steel you have,  in your records is fine, do you descend from
not the name but the number 1st though to 9th Sons only, not daughters as well.
Thanks
Bleggy
