Hi Members,

I am asking all members to locate their queries, save their data, and post a message within that thread to advise that they have saved the data so that I can close those thread off.

This is a painfully slow and time consuming process, especially if MSN is having one of their days and is moving very slowly.

I do not wish to sound harsh or rude, but please do not send a "blanket request" to management asking management to close off all of your threads for you.

As I mentioned, this is a very time consuming process as it is without trying to remember who does not want to go through their own threads, save their data and to advise for them to be closed off.

Unfortunately locating your threads is a matter of trawling through the queries to locate your own query thread.

The worst part is if the original query was moderated due to members not following the rules regarding capital usage etc., it will have the moderator's name in the "started by" section rather than the username of the person with the query.

At the moment I am going through all previous queries to close them off and / or bouncing them to the top to see if we can find any new data for the incomplete queries.

If your query thread comes to the top and you have saved that data, please post a message within that same thread to advise that you have saved the data and also advise that the thread can be closed off or whether you would like it checked for further data?

Once I have closed off threads that I have been advised are complete and the data saved, I will then bounce the other queries to the top, so please check the queries for your own so that I am able to clear all threads prior to us moving over to AIMOO?

All closed off threads will appear with the "thread closed" "thread worm" and also show up with a digit (number) under the recommendation heart.

Thanking you for your co-operation.

Hi Members,

It seems that some may disagree with the closure of
threads, but if you want to THANK "Enfocer99" this is how it
has been decided that it will be done.

So as a small THANK YOU please lend a hand and post your final message so that we know you are prepared to put as much effort in to your look ups as she is...

Thanks, without prejudice.
