I am going to share to much eventually. If I do you just let me know and I will hush. I don't know if I told you before that I have a TNS unit implanted in my side. It is at my waist and is so uncomfortable when wearing slacks. You would think since I have had it for 4 years I would be used to it now, but I am not. Sometimes it feels like it is going to break the skin and pop right out. It is a small box like piece in there and the electrical wires or leads go to my spine. It is to control the rotten pain in my left leg and foot. It works too. Does some good for my lower back, but wasn't really put in for that. But may just have to go in for one to replace this one to get back and leg. HA It is controlled by a little remote, sort of about the size of a garage door opener. Small. Just wanted to add something to my diary of myself here!!

I unfortunately have started back having seizures again. At least 1 or 2 a week. I was so hopeful that they were under control. I had one last night when I opened the chat room. I could feel that it was coming on. I have no idea how I left the room or how I got into the bed. But about 3 hours later that is where I was. I am thankful that I made it to the bed though. I know something is going to happen since my left side gets painful. Since my brain injury is on the right that is the side that is affected. Guess that is good though, I have some warning. Then my eye sight goes, not totally, just real fuzzy. Seems each time I have one my eye sight is a little worse than before I had it.  |

Just me adding here.... I haven't had any seizures for a week now. So that is good. But my legs have been hurting so badly for over a week that I don't know what to do. Even in the morning after being in the bed all nite so they are up, which I would think would help, doesn't. They still hurt. Laying, sitting and when walking, yikes, forget that one!! They swell at my ankles and I know I am retaining water, but doc doesn't have me on water pill. I need something I can get over the counter I guess. Water retension doesn't make you feel too good either. |
