I live in California, have a 24 yr old son that graduates from college this Sunday and an 11 yr old Umbrella Cockatoo (parrot) who thinks she's a human being. She has her own little blankie that she sleeps underneath and everything. Even shares my oatmeal at breakfast time...LOL!! I do alot of photography work and some graphics. I'm also a music addict. I play several instruments and am currently learning how to play the cello. Lordy how I love to sit down with it later on in the evening and play my heart out. Very relaxing if you ask me. Next on my list to learn how to play is the harp. Then I will have learned how to play all of the instruments that I want to learn. I do alot of needlework i.e. crocheting, knitting and plastic canvas stuff and I've been active in working with rape victims and abused women and children for over 40 yrs. now. I helped set up the first rape crisis center in St. Joseph County Indiana back in 1967 or 68. Not real sure which year it was now. Sometimes I think I'm busier now than I was before I was disabled and couldn't work anymore. LOL!!! I hope you make some lifelong friendships here!! Take care and create a good one for yourself, ok? I like Moki, she is a very interesting person! Some of her post are great. Not sure why Cyclene posted it, maybe because she has health issues lately and an traumatizing adventure lately. Anyway hats off to Moki! Jan twiz |

Oh my goodness!! Dang! I must be blind or something man! This is the first time I even noticed this post! My word!! Oh me of little brain........LOL!! Oh Winnie The Pooh has alot more brain than I've had these past several months. I'm sure I'd forget my head if it weren't permanently attached to this useless body of mine! I thank y'all for the sweet things you've said and Ms Cylene.......you are a stinker, ya know that? LOL!! I love ya anyway's my dear "frined." I've not been posting much anywhere here lately. Life is getting more and more challenging and I'm bound and determined that I'm going to lick it........it just takes a little more uummmppppfffff to do things nowadays than it did before. I will do my best to post more often, but my brain just isn't working up to capacity at all lately. It's really getting on my nerves too! Especially when about all the doc will say to me is "Well dear, you're not a spring chicken anymore you know." I'm tired of hearing that same old line. I want to know what's going on and what I can do to fix it or at least make things work better!! Sssshhheesssshhhh!!! Y'all create a good one for yourselves and I'll do the same.
