Technical Help : Never seen this appear before when I try to get into chat

the link you posted is for our room on sparkpea if you clicked on it you should go right to the room.... I did.

every time I click the chat link on the <-------- menu bar I get that link come across the screen in huge font.

OK .... now I understand what you are seeing.
 
First what you are seeing when you click on chat on our menu is what one of our managers put there for you to see. It is a link for you to click to take you to the sparkpea room.
 
Second when you click on it and end up on the sparkpea home page instead of the room is because either you are not registered on sparkpea, or you need to sign in first before you can get to the room.
 
You need to register your "name" on sparkpea for it to recognize you. Once you have done this you will show up in the chat rooms as the name you registered ie "TaintedNick" or whatever you want to use.
 
If you don't want to register you may chat in the room as a "guest" but you may not have all the features available to you.
 
Personally I have my own link to the sparkpea home page and I sign in there, before going to the room listed under "peers" category. I doing this I am sure I am properly logged into sparkpea. Using a direct link to the room I have found I will not always be properly logged in, therefore having weird glitches happening.
 
Hope this clears up what is happening for you.

Blessings to you, we were wondering the other day where you had wandered to....

MSN in their infinite wisdom put a kabash on all chatrooms so we had to move ourselves to sparkpea to chat.

I also am having problems.  This is the first chat group so I don't know what I am doing.  Only through reading this page did I realise that I wasn't doing it right.  I tried to log into the chat room only to realise that I didn't even know what the password was.  Great.  Another password to remember.  I am terrible at remembering passwords.  Anyway I requested for another password.  Received that one.  Tried again and it won't let me in.  I have tried three times.  I don't know what I am doing wrong. Tried again and it seemed to work.  All I got was a page with a picture/image? whats the go there.

Ok I'm sorry I've been behind on the boards so I just saw this post. Guess maybe I should post instructions on the chat link to help everyone with ?'s.
 
when you see the face Josie it means that the chat software has been loaded and is working just click where it says I can see the smiley face and it should take you right in to chat. Hope that helps
