Good morning:
I am sending a reply to selling at Craft Shows.
My comments may not make a difference in anyone's life but my wife and I are
promoters of CRAFT SHOWS! The malls and both of us jury the craft as they
must provide pictures of their items as well as their displays. We look for
quality first and utmost! Secondly we look for display. This can be worked
on but quality is almost #1. If you mass produce items you will never be
asked to join us again. We run an honest show for the honest crafter. We
insist on all items whether wood or any other crafter these items must be
homemade.

Most crafters that are not serious about shows and there only to make money
are not always willing to work with us and they try to fudge their items
around a few homemade ones but we take that crafter aside and inform them
that we know what they are doing and they would not be allowed back at one
of our shows. We are here to make money also but my reputation is on the
line here and we do deal with malls that charge us big bucks to bring a show
into their mall so we demand the best. We do, however, at times need to
limit the numbers of any type of crafter that comes into our show just on
the basis that it is not fair to have 10 woodworkers if there is only 25
spots...not fair to any of the woodworkers so there are some limits that we
and the mall put on some people.

We do shows in Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey if anyone is ever in
this area, come visit or join us at one of our shows.
Chuck
