HOW can there be too many Tudor books???

I am in an Anne Boleyn Yahoo group & one of its managers is Wendy Dunn, who is the Australian author of a book on Anne Boleyn from Thomas Wyatt's POV called Dear Heart, How Like You This?  It came out probably 5 years ago (still haven't gotten around to reading it yet LOL because the library system here doesn't have either that or another Anne Boleyn book by another member there, Nell Gavin, called Threads: The Reincarnation of Anne Boleyn & for some reason neither of them ever went to trade paperback to be less expensive; see ancient FA thread on such HERE.)

Anyway, Wendy has been hard at work on a new novel about Catherine of Aragon, which she finished & duly began shopping   Do you know that despite being published once already in the same genre, she has culled FOUR REJECTIONS?   One of the publishers told her there are "too many Tudor books out"!!!

HOW can there be too many?  Don't these idiot publishers realize how we Tudor aficianados gobble em up like candy???

I have had people (who have seen my book collection) ask me why I need so many books on the same subject.  Are ya kiddin' me?????????  Each book says something a little different, or in a different way.  There are so many points of view and so many stories to be told.   If you love a subject there are never too many books.

Sooooooo many books, not enough time.
