Looky what I found there:

Severance
Author: Robert Olen Butler; Buy New: $11.16

The human head is believed to remain in a state of consciousness for one and one-half minutes after decapitation.  In a heightened state of emotion, people speak at the rate of 160 words per minute. Inspired by this information, the author has written 62 stories capturing the flow of thoughts and feelings that go through a person's
mind after their head has been severed. Includes Piers Gaveston, Anne Boleyn, Katherine Howard, Lady Jane Grey, Mary Queen of Scots, and many other historical figures.  Not a novel but just too darn intriguing to leave out.  NH

Lol, MarkGB5!

What an odd topic for a book - sounds interesting though.

What gets me is each story has to be exactly 240 words, going by the speed-talking agitation premise   Good for him for plucking ol Piers Gaveston from obscurity LOL

Do you think Anne Boleyn just kept repeating BURN IN HELL HENRY?
