This is a movie I have for the weekend, about Charles I being disposed. He is played by Rupert Everett, guess there was no one 5' tall to play him. It was made in 2003. Just wondering how accurate it is if anyone saw it?

Just watched it, seems to be the way I remember the actual events....Tim Roth should have played King Charles though, Rupert Everett was too tall, and Roth was the shortess of the cast.

So it was a decent flick?  Never heard of it tho we do Rupert Everett & you're right, they shoulda got a lil shrimp like Tom Cruise to play Charles I LOL  This would've been a great role for Mickey Rooney back in the 40s

The best Charles I was Alec Guiness in Cromwell.
