Llywelyn the Great and Llywelyn the Last.

Ok, Echo was right.....the Welsh are nothing if not interesting!  Did you see Llewellyn hanged his only son for messing with his wife?

Alas! These Welsh names give me pain!
I try to rhyme and fry my brain!
Of course I love the tales they tell,
Especially when they're ne'er do well!

Llywelyn hung his only son
For having some peculiar fun,
And Dafydd lost his only head
When it was given to King Ed.

So what if they have icky names!
At least they're in the Hall of Shames!
They acted just like Henry Eight
When he got rid of Anne and Cate.

Ooops!  I stand corrected!  Twas William de Braose whom Llewellyn hanged for messing with the fair Joan, not the kid!  Read it wrong.   Well, can't say she wasn't a chip off the old Plantagenet block!
