Not with much success.

We tried on several occasions (quite some time ago) to set times for people to come to the chat room.  Problem is we have members from all over the world and the times zones when members were available were not compatable.

As it has been quite some time since we attempted to set up chat sessions, perhaps we could try again.

If everyone interested in using the chat room, would please post here and let us know what times and days would be good for you, we can see if once or twice a week we can have chat.

OK I can do that one....GMT is EST +5.   Should we just lollygag aimlessly in there, or shall we pick a Tudor Topic to discuss?

Hi Greensleeves, sorry about the delay in getting back to you. Well any Plantagenet topic is good for me, drop me an e mail at [email protected] and let me know when you'll be around. I work 12 hour night shifts, 3 on and 3 off so I'll be around tomorrow night ie Friday, then working Saturday, Sunday and Monday and back on Tuesday. Don't worry about time difference, when you work nights you tend to stay up late anyway. It's the downside to the job, it plays havoc with your body clock.

Yeah, it's a killer. I was only doing it for another year or so then I was supposed to be emigrating to the States, my (ex) girlfriend being American, but things never worked out for us and, well these things happen. So I'm stuck with it until I can get something better. The money's good but money isn't everything is it.

I'm off work Monday 22nd to Wednesday 24th and will drop by the chatroom and see if anyone's there in the late evening UK time. Alternatively if you want to drop me a line and arrange something, fel free, the address is further up the thread.

Regards
Alan

Probably going tomorrow, been thinking about Richard today though. Such a shame that for once, the good guys didn't win.
