I have just read a wonderful novel published in Germany called Die zwoelfte Nacht by Charlotte Lyne: unfortunately it is not published in english yet, which I hope it is translated into soon as I found this novel to be one of the best about this period I have ever read. Henry is portrayal is far from the usual fat butcher, but rather he is shown to be intelligent and torn in his desire and need to have an heir.
The best part of this tale is the cenrtral one which is the facinating life of Catherine Parr, and her love for Thomas Symour. It is told with real energy and the attention to detail and historical accuracy is second to none.
If read German read it, if not you just have to pray it is translated into english in the near future.
