Hi Everyone

I was loaned a book from my 16 yr old neice....a couple of months ago now and it was a great read........a true story too.

It was called 'The Gift' sorry folks i can't remember the author, it has a picture of a girl on the front cover though if that helps.....when i see my neice next and remember to ask her i will post the authors name.

It was a truly good read and i was happy and amazed when my neice brought herself the book to read.....it was nice that after reading the book she called round to my house for tea and whilst here she had so many questions concerning what we all believe, her 'awakening mind' was lovely and i truly enjoyed those two or so hours with her.Her mum is my sister who rejects the idea of spirit so i was honoured and pleased that she felt comfortable to be able to ask me things......i let her go.....with a few things to think about and let her know that i was here whenever she needed me and that i like herself are still learning and walking this spiritual pathway.

So if you want a good read.....'The Gift' is lovely

Blessings to you all

Shelby

The Gift by Mia Dolan:

The Story of an Ordinary Woman’s Extraordinary Power

In the tradition John Edwards comes the extraordinary life story of psychic and clairvoyant. Mia Dolan was just 22 when she first heard the voice of her spirit guide bestowing on her unbidden psychic messages about those around her. This is a compelling story of an ordinary woman’s extraordinary gift ?an inspirational life lived with raw honesty and courage.

Brought up in in ordinary working-class community, she had always been down-to-earth and certainly never believed in psychic phenomena. Now that the voice had spoken to Mia, strange things started to happen. She ‘left?her body and walked through the house, she ‘saw?a plane crash in horrific detail, only to hear it reported on the news that evening. She thought she was going insane.

Finally Mia accepted that she had a rare psychic gift and learned how to control and use it. A few years later, Mia’s courage was tested when she tragically foresaw the murder of her own brother and had to endure the loss of her young son.

In The Gift Mia describes how her psychic ability developed, and the more dramatic readings that she has given including the man who came to ask her where his missing wife was ?she knew instantly that she was dead, and the body was later found exactly as Mia described.

'I want people to know there is more to life than what we call reality, more than what we can see ?and it is not as far beyond our reach as we imagine. It is ordinary, everyday, here and now, in this minute. And it is magical, a gift.?

I agree it was a very good book. It was an honest and truthful account of her life.
I would recommend it to everyone.
