Hi Jo;As a depression sufferer for many many years i know where your coming from,i have been depression free for over 3 yrs now with the help of medication,and i know you will probably say you tried several anti-depressants and couldn't take the side effects,cause that's what i went through,sooo many meds that i just couldn't take,but the ones i have now has few side effects and controls my depressions perfectly.(the name of the 2 i take are Trazadone,and Zoloff)I do get down in the dumps here and there but not down that black hole anymore.I will send you Healing prayers for you to get well soon,but i will also go to your doctor and dicuss this terrible depression.And if you have had a deep depression before then you know it's only you that can bring yourself out,and with our healing prayers and thoughts can help you.Take care hun and don't give upLinda |

Oh ((((JO)))) Never be upset to ask for healing hun, we all need it from time to time........as for depression, I have been a lifetime sufferer and i understand totally what you are going through......... I couldn't take any of the newer meds out there but eventually my dr gave me ones called clomipramine old, old ones, been around over 50 years and a low dose of 40mg ( normal dose starts at 150mg) keeps me depression free - the main side effects are at first you sweat and are thirsty but that passes........its a lot of drs never think of the old tricyllics but for some of us they work far better than the newer ones, so sweetie don't know what drugs you have taken in the past but if you have tried most ask your dr about the older ones there are quite a few not just the one I take- I have been taking them for about 5 years now and only time I have got depressed is when I thought oh I am ok now I can live without them, and bang back came the depression.
I accept I need them as much as a diabetic needs their insulin. Big big hugs and healing on the way HealingandLove |

Bless you all my dear friends. I have been feeling a little better for the last couple of days so i would like to thank you all for your healing. I have been on antidepresents for 9 years and like you Healingandlove i have accepted them in my life. I have tried all sorts at the moment i am on saroxat 50mg i have made an apointment to discus my feelings with my doctor thank you for your kind advice bless you all.xxxx |
