Early in the morning, about six o'clock,            [[ NICOLA]]

She storms into the bedroom,not bothering to knock,

She picks up my socks and shoes from the floor,

Climbs on the window sill swings on the door,

Jumps on the bed, up and down with a shout-

Its time you and mother were up and about''

So I look out the window with this kid of mine.

"Dear God in Heaven is that realy the time ,

Then w'er off down the stairs for some tea and toast,

I'll put on the vidio, the one she likes most,

I relax in the chair and start drifting away,

While James Bond and Nicola, once more save the day ,

Now its nine in the morning,and shes all washed and dressed,

This little apple of my eye( Who's realy daddy's pest )

'' Have you got some pennies Dad, so we can hire a car??

To take MUM to Blackpool dad, it is'nt very far,\

''You know I realy love you dad,you'r the one that I adore-

And if you get a car today, I'll love you even more.''

She thinks I can work magic, and that money grows on trees,

I just have to wave a magic- wand to buy every thing she sees.

So I tell her I am broke today , and my moneys almost spent,

So sh'e ll have to do with a Milky Way ,'cause I've got to pay the rent.

She accepts my excuses and goes out to play-

Where she torment's our dog the most of the day

I'm sure he thinks shes as mad a can be,

When she talks to her dolls and friends she can't see .

There are times she is boisterous, and a little unruly,

But she's loving and caring, when some one is poorly

She's her own special person, it's only fair to say,

And I know I wouldnt want it ,any other way .

I love the way she act's and funny things she says,

She fills my life with sunshine in so many ways.

One day I'll walk her down the aisle in her wedding dress-

This little girl who's playing there, there making such a mess.

Then there will be grand kids- won't that just be great ?

On second thoughts, I think I'LL pack and EMIGRATE .

just wanted to share my friend in wakefield wrote a few books of peoms with her husband to raise money for ...Leukaemia...yrs a go,
