I've made a plan for this year, of small but achievable goals, one of them being is making time for myself and concentrating to listening to my own body and mind. Meditation is high on the list along with exercise.
I have been trying so hard to be so many diffent things to different people (eg wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend etc) that I have lost myself somewhere in there, and I have allowed to many people to drain me of my time and energy and when I have needed someone to lean on they are no where to been seen!
So, by spending less time on these people, I am going to spend that on me. I am learning the art of the word no! hence also putting a balance back into my life. But I have also been concerned about becoming cold or standoffish to people, but I need for my own well being to be saying no to these people that constantly put a drain on me.
My confidence in itself has been a big issue for me, and feeling more sercure in myself is something that I am working on......
