Hiya, It all depends on what type of bird you have. There should be more than enough room for the bird to be able to spread and flutter it's wings plus space for toys etc. Steve |

I just measured Shannon ekkie's cage, and it's 34"x24"x64" with 45" usable space (the rest is stand) and about 3/4" bar spacing. That is important too. You don't want to go much bigger than that because he might get his head caught between the bars. I've got a dome top instead of a playstand because it gives more cage space. But that means a nice play area outside the cage is in order, too. Take a look at how the food doors latch, too. And what the dishes are made of. I don't see any problem with the size, you might not have room to put a swing or boing in there, but for an ekkie it should be fine, IMO. If you're satisfied with it, and the price is right...sounds like a good sized cage for an eclectus. Nancy |

I finally found a cage. It is 32x23x68. It looks plenty big enough and has a really nice play area on top. It is wrought iron and powder coated. I also made sure it didn't have toxic paint on it. There are also plenty of toys for when he comes home, unless I choose the female..or actually one chooses me..hehe. I am really excited now and ready for my new family member to be here with me.
