That is cute, Toolady. I was surprised that the Scarlet and the Hyacinth were of a similar size. The Hyacinths that I have seen have been much larger than other macaws. Abby |

OK I am making note to self(No letting Abby and Mika play like that)I would be scared of it getting out of hand and someone getting hurt. That is either a small Hyacinth or a really large Scarlet. |

LOL... it's both. The person who owns them and several others is on another board. She says that each has a bonded buddy. |

I thought it looked a bit rough but saw them in their loving moods which is just as intense... I couldn't find the email she sent it in.... as I'd like to have shared that too. I doubt if you'd let Abby and Mika play like that...my word they haven't even met each other yet far less grew up together and bonded... |

You are right Etta they have not met yet and I am nervous about how that's going to go over.I know Mika is a gentle bird and is use to other birds she lived with 12 parrots,But new home ,new flock I am sure she will not be the "same" bird as she is right now I expect some change in her personality"hoping" I am wrong...lol. And I am really nervous about how Abby is going to take it but ya never know maybe he will love having a BIGGER sister |

I was prepared to see a little more roughhousing than there actually was. It wasn't bad. My 'zons can get pretty rough playing themselves. Also thought the dog standing there in front of the cage watching them was a funny touch. And I loved the birds names. Cool video ~ thanks! |
