Ellen White is highly responsible for taking the 'church' back under that bondage of thinking they are still bound under that old covenant, the ten commandments.
The adventist church, which is one of the main ones who is advocating this error, was largly set by Ellen White.
Those Ten c. are not God's law. Sure he gave them to Moses, by which those Israelites were brought under law, so God could hold them responsible for their many sins and idol worship, and do away with them.
but in Jesus Christ, we are NOT under that law. Where there is no law, there is no sin. This is the only way we are without sin. Jesus baptized us into Christ, where there is neither the bondage of law, nor sin.
I admit that most people today, are still under that bondage of law, as yourself. but it is a trick of Satan, for Jesus set us free from that and gave us liberty.
Now make no mistake, this does not mean that those of us, the few who truly found Grace, live in sin. It means we now have the Holy Ghost which changes our sin nature and gives us a Holy Nature, like unto Jesus, so that we now live a Holy and Godly life by his Love, not be law.
The Law of God is His every Word. ...not those ten.
The law which preceeded from Jesus is not those ten. The Word is very explicit in this matter. That law came by MOSES. So says the Word of God.
But.....see the contrast? But Grace and TRUTH came by Jesus Christ.
Take some time and sincerely study 11Cor.3, and the Book of Galations. Pray for understanding. Hope you do manage to find Grace, for the two cannot be together. It is impossible to have Grace and be under law at the same time, for they are opposites.
