From: joie (Original Message) | Sent: 8/29/2001 9:59 PM | Acts 5:42---And DAILY in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ. Now, there is the New Testament day to worship and keep holy; all of them. Now how many of you desire to follow the apostles and their example? There it is; do it every day. This is not any gobble-de-gook trying to explain this 'word' and that 'word'; explain away how the Scripture was translated: this is letting the Word say what is the true answer. This said they CEASED NOT TO TEACH AND PREACH EVERY DAY. When the new testament Christians looked into the truth and saw that God had changed everything from the 10% thing in the Old Testament, to 100% in the New Covenant, most of them backed out and decided to stay with the Old Covenant---to the lose of their own soul. Acts 4:32---And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart (all in agreement)---and of one soul: neither said any of them that aught of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common. v34---Neither was there any among them that lacked: FOR AS MANY AS WERE POSSESSORS OF LANDS OR HOUSES SOLD THEM, AND BROUGHT THE PRICES OF THE THINGS THAT WERE SOLD, AND LAID THEM DOWN AT THE APOSTLES' FEET: AND DISTRIBUTION WAS MADE UNTO EVERY MAN ACCORDING AS HE HAD NEED. (sorry, didn't realize I was on caps). Now, this is the New Testament way of giving: all; 100%. Who wants to follow the apostles? Who wants to go worship every day? Who wants to hear preaching every day? Where are you? Why do you cling to the O.T. Sabbath? Because you do not want New Testament ways. Neither Saturday nor Sunday satisfies God today: it is all or nothing. Now, for another Witness of this: Heb.3:13---But exhort one another DAILY, while it is called Today; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. Now, that is what happens to those of you who only want to do this one day a week: you become hardened through decietfulness of sin. Another witness: 11Cor.11:28--Beside those things that are without, that which cometh upon me DAILY, the care of all the churches. Now, this shows Paul was into church work every day. Acts 19:9---But when divers were hardened, and believed not, but spake evil of that way before the multitude, he (Paul)--departed from them, and separated the disciples, disputing DAILY in the school of one Tyrannun. v10---And this continued by the space of two years; so that all they which dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks. Now, this shows that Paul taught every day for two whole years. Acts 17:17--Therefore disputed he (Paul) in the synagogue with the Jews, and with the devout persons, and in the market daily with them that met with him. Now, here we find that Paul taught DAILY in the SYNAGOGUES, and then outside in the market DAILY. When he left the synagogues, he didn't stop; he kept teaching outside in the market place, DAILY. Now where are you? Acts 16:5---And so were the churches established in the faith, and increased in number DAILY. For it to increase in number daily, they would have had to getting together daily. Acts 2:47--Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church DAILY such as should be saved. v46--And they, continuing DAILY with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart. See they went to that temple daily. Luke 19:47---And he (Jesus) taught DAILY in the temple.... Where do you get this one day a week stuff from? Better come up to the New Testament. Study my new message on Grace. It explains this more fully. The reason Jesus told Mary not to 'touch' him yet; he was telling her he had not yet been established by God to be one with God; to recieve worship; this happened when he ascended. JO Smith

From: joie | Sent: 8/31/2001 11:55 PM | Hey, everyone, someone, jump on this!! Please!! I am asking all Saturday Keepers to jump in here and explain away why you keep only one day a week!!! I have presented many Scriptures saying the New Testament Christians kept seven days a week. I am asking all you Sunday keepers to jump in here and explain why you keep only one day a week. Now, let's all stick to New Testament Scriptures. Don't go by the Old Covenant. Find me one New Testament command to keep Saturday; find me one which commands me to keep Sunday. And while doing it, please explain why these in the Word kept seven days a week. Now for some more on this daily business: Matt.6:11--Give us our DAILY bread= daily spiritual meat. Mt. 26:55---I sat DAILY WITH YOU teaching in the temple...also in Mk 14:49 Luke 9: 23---If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross DAILY, and follow me. Lk.19: 47--And he taught DAILY in the temple. Lk.11:3--Give us day by day our daily bread. He is not speaking of natural food; he means spiritual food. Lk. 22:53---When I was DAILY with you in the temple.... Acts 2:46 Jo

From: joie | Sent: 9/1/2001 2:06 PM | The 10 commandments are not included in Gal. and 1Cor. 6---go look at it a little closer: you will find that keeping a sabbath is NOT listed there; nor is it commanded any where else in the New Testament. I find that those who so are so ardent about this, think nothing about 'bearing false witness' against someone. Why? Because this one is part of New Testament teachings. I think you will find that all the others are expressily taught in the New Testament; but not sabbath keeping. Why? Because God changed a % thing of the Old T., to 100%. Now, under the Spirit of Grace, (the Holy Ghost), we must give our all to God. Now, this is what people do not want. They make up this stuff about the Pharisees; there were no Pharisees or Sadusees in the day Moses gave and wrote the law. They had not one thing to do with that matter. You know what the trouble is: those saying they think they must keep that 7th day, really do NOT WANT to keep it according to what Moses really said. They go out and buy on that day; this pollutes it. They will go hicking, fishing, work on the computers; etc etc. I know, for I asked them and some of them told me this. They try to make themselves believe they are keeping it; they blame the Pharisees with their not keeping it right. They see the freedom Jesus showed about this day; he said he worked on this day; and even though they say they must keep it; they want the freedom of Grace. Law and Grace cannot co-exist. People do not see that there are two laws. That is the mis-understanding. 1John 2 says we have the old commandment, which is the Word we had FROM THE BEGINNING. Look into Genesis; you will not find one reference to anyone being commanded to keep a sabbath. That was unheard of, until Moses went up into the mt. and recieved those 10 commandments on stone. Yet, they will say this is not the Moses law. It can be nothing else. Then, read the New Testament; you will not find anywhere, that it tells us to keep any sabbath. So, see, the only time this was commanded was during that law age of Moses. The Spirit of Grace is the Holy Ghost. This is the New Rest; the true Rest. When we are given this Spirit; we are put into Jesus; and Jesus is put into us. He is our covering; So, when God looks at us, He sees Jesus. That is why no sin is imputed to us. Therefore, we will live Holy lives; and God will never see any sin in us. He cast them away forever; and remembers them against us no more. In Rev. 18: He remembers the sins of Whore church; that is because they did not come to the New T. They did not recieve the Holy Ghost; they thought they would have salvation by the law of Moses= keeping a sabbath day. Therefore, God sees their sins and destroys them. That is why this is so very important. In my opinion, it is the most important thing in the world. Jo

From: joie | Sent: 2/28/2002 10:10 PM | While I am here in the back pages, I will just send this one back, too. We need some new discussions again on the front page. Satan always sends in some junk to dominate the board. I want true, Scriptual messages to be dominate. | Reply
| | From: joie | Sent: 4/30/2002 2:39 PM | People, please note the date of this original message; back in August of last year. How many read and answered this; not one. I find it to be very interesting, easy to understand, fully proven by the Written Word, a most necessary truth. Then why is it ignored? I will send it back again. Those who think 'going' to church will save children, look at this. God said for us to speak of him each day, worship each day, talk of him in the way, morning, evening, and at night. Write this on your door [your mind] speak of it to all you come in contact with, and pray with each group you visit. Study the Word as you ride down the rode [Wanna and I did so much of this yesterday, I put my throat back into non-action]; but that is o.k. We must suffer some for the Kingdom of God. We must sacrifice our bodies for his sake. How will it be proven that we are willing, if nothing unpleasant ever happens to us? If children see their parents and friends always praising God and studying the word and praying, Believe me, they would turn their lives around and serve God. Jo | | |

From: joie | Sent: 5/13/2002 10:05 PM | Daniel : 011:031 | And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate. People, notice here that the wicked one spoken of here, did away with the DAILY SACRIFICE~: now this is the DAILY WORK OF THAT FIRST CHURCH, WHICH IS IN THIS ORIGINAL MESSAGE. Notice also, that they then placed the thing which had made them [Jerusalem] DESOLATE. So what was that?? They brought back into this Grace Church~~~~ that old LAW. YES, folks, that is what had made them DESOLATE IN THE FIRST PLACE. It has made them DESOLATE AGAIN. | 011:032 | And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits. [Against WHAT COVENANT? THE NEW TESTAMENT COVENANT!!!!!] | 011:033 | And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days. People, this falling by sword, flame, captivity, and spoil MANY DAYS, shows that this has been going on a very long time. To be exact, the full church ages. So, see that this wicked one, who came against the N.T Covenant, and set back up the thing which made Jerusalem DESOLATE, has been here all the time = 2,000 years. This has been all those Christians who have been killed and tortured by this old whore Jerusalem church for all this time. They are the ones who took away the DAILY SACRIFICE~~~~~ AND SET BACK UP ONE DAY A WEEK WORSHIP. | 011:034 | Now when they shall fall, they shall be holpen with a little help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries. | 011:035 | And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed. | 011:036 | And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done. | 011:037 | Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all. | 011:038 | But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things. | 011:039 | Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain. | 011:040 | And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over. | 011:041 | He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon. | 011:042 | He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape. | 011:043 | But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps. | 011:044 | But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many. | 011:045 | And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him. Now, what is right? A DAILY worship and work for God? Or a one day a week 'rest' thing? I think it is very evident which is true. Jo | | This is powerful!

Our lives must revolve around God and the things of God. does it? Check up on your own self. Is your life constantly doing and thinking on the things of God? If not, you are not worshipping NT method. In fact, even in the OT, under Moses, those people's lives totally revolved around the things of God. you cannot 'go to church' on sat. or sun. and forget God the rest of the week and be truly serving HIM. No way. If this is your style, you are missing the truth, and deceiving your own hearts. |
