Well, where do I start? I was raised a Christian ALL of my life, but because of many years of angry and hurt feelings towards my father (Who was unfaithful to my mother and left us all when I was very young), I fell away from God.

Although my father has now changed, and I have forgiven him for the things he has done, I can't seem to get back to my relationship with God, no matter how hard I try.

My fiance and I BOTH want to have a good relationship with God, but we know that we can't do that until we live the way that God wants us to. We are living together, but we are also planning to get married this April.

We have a beautiful child together as well.

I just feel SO alone a lot, and I have SO many issues. My parents keep telling me to turn to God, but I try and explain to them that it feels like there is a wall between God and I, and I don't know what to do about it.

Can anyone give me any advice? Please feel free to e-mail me as well.

First I wish to welcome you to this great community. Our one and only purpose is to teach the truth of God's Holy Word and help those who visit here to find a good, close relationship with God by obeying His Word.

My advise to you is the same the Apostles of Jesus taught people to do: Read the Book of Acts. Study this Book. It is the book which shows the full New Testament way of Salvation.

Go into the second chapter. I know millions of mis-led church people will deny that this is valid for us today. But I can assure you, they are in deception. God has not written a new Book for us to go by. That one is still sufficient.

The true plan of salvation laid down by Peter and Paul has not changed one bit; not will it ever change.

All who refuse to humble themselves and receive this plan of salvation will be cast out into outter darkness.

Repent of your sins.

This is to be sorry for them, ask forgivness, and be willing to GIVE THEM UP.

Find someone who will Baptize you in water in the Name of Jesus Christ for the REMISSION OF THOSE SINS.

This is the only way.

Then seek and pray until God fills you with the great Baptism of the Holy Ghost according to Acts 2.

This is the only way of salvation. Anything else is trying to change God's way and set up another way. God will reject all who do so.

If you follow this, joy unspeakable and full of glory will come into your life, and the power to live a victorious, sin-overcoming life.

I will pray for you and wish to hear back from you. I hope you will take this to heart and obey.

I copied and placed a message here done by our assistent manager, Isaiah. Please notice the time of your message and his. His went on board two minutes after yours. So this means, (If you are in the same time zone)-- that you were working on these messages at the very same time.

Now, His message is the full answer to your question, What must I do? This is the very same question 3,000 people asked and obeyed Peter in the book of Acts. They received N.T. salvation that day by obeying this message.

You can do the same.

He could not have known when he did this message, that another person was at the same time asking that question, What must I do. Yet he wrote the answer.

If you desire joy, salvation, deliverance, and power in your life, study and obey the message written here straight out of the mouth of the Apostles of Jesus.

They wrote the N.T. Every word of the above message was quoted from them. So, if their words are not true, then we have no truth to go by.

So let anyone who tries to tell you this is not right, let them confess that they call God a lie.

MommyOfJazzy first of all let me welcome you to Build On The

True Foundation. So good to see you already posting. Yes

it really is amazing the way God does things at times.

What is so amazing also about this is that this came from someone on another board that I visited this morning and I copied and pasted it from their board. Something that I very seldom do. But it was such a good message and also it was God that knew you needed this message. That is what makes it so wonderful, when you know God has control and that he is working in your life.

This is not the first time this has happened with myself and Joie. It has happened so many times. But it never seems to amaze us. We have been on before and each was writing a message not beknowing what the other was doing and end up with the same message and the same scriptures, or pretty close. We have at times sent the messages at the same time.

We do a lots on the buddy thing and at times she has answered my question before I asked it and vice versa I have answered hers before she asked the question.

Also the other day we were out to lunch together and we were talkng about a certain subject and Joie was fixing to tell me something and I ask her to wait and I would tell her what she was fixing to tell me. I told her what she was fixing to say and I was exactly right.

I believe that was the same way it was on the day of Pentocost. That they were in one mind and one accord.

I'm just thankful that God is still in the miracle working business. The only advice that I could give you is to take heed to the advice that Joie has already given to you.

You in yourself can not do anything. I tried that myself. So as joie has stated "Receive ye the Holy Ghost" according to Act 2:38 and the Holy Ghost will lead you into all truth.

Also I think you have made a good start in deciding to get married. Get married to Christ and also to your fiance and bring that child up in a Godly home with a Godly mom and dad. May the Lord BLESS and fill you both with the baptism of the Holy Ghost.
