Ps 46:1 To the chief Musician for the sons of Korah, A Song upon Alamoth. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Know that God is with you at all times, IF YOU BELONG TO HIM.

When you are in trouble, God is right there, right then, to help you. All you need to do is have FAITH and call upon him.

Trust in the LORD. Lean not to your own understanding. Ask and you shall receive. But do not waiver. If you doubt, you will not receive. You are like the troubled sea, and cannot rest, when you cannot believe.

Where is your FAITH? Oh ye of little faith. What you cheat yourselves out of, through your lack of faith and believing that God is a very present HELP IN TROUBLE.

God moved on me to give you this. (Joie posted the above on sign in page. I would like to start a new message with this thought.)

Where Else Is There To Go

Because God Is In Control We Have Nothing To Fear

I did this message a while back for a brother and put it on a tape trying to encourage him. I would like to share this message with you and also some of you may be going through things and God may help you also through this message. No matter what we have to go through- Because God Is a Control We Have Nothing to Fear. Praise God.

Mat.-28:20-- Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. ( Jesus did not say here that he would only be with us in the good times, he said I will be with you always, so we can expect Jesus to be with us in the bad times as well as the good times.)

Deuteronomy--31:6-8-- “Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.?/FONT>

031:007-- “And Moses called unto Joshua, and said unto him in the sight of all Israel, Be strong and of a good courage: for thou must go with this people unto the land which the LORD hath sworn unto their fathers to give them; and thou shalt cause them to inherit it.?031:008-- ?And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed?/FONT>

Believers are assured that if they love God above all else and depend on him rather than material security, the Lord will never desert or forsake them, but will be their helper.

Because of this promise we must be strong and of good courage vs. 6- ?Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee?( We must preserve in trials, resisting temptations, trusting in the Lord and fully obeying him. We are serving a God that cannot fail.)

Romans 8:31-- “What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us??/FONT>

008:028-- ?And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.?( These passage of scriptures greatly encourages the children of God when we must endure suffering in this life and we as children of God are going to go through things that looks to the natural eye that there is no way out.)

But Because God Is a Control We Have Nothing to Fear - God will bring good out of afflictions, trials, persecution and suffering. This promise is limited to those who love God and have submitted to him by faith in Jesus Christ.

Romans 8:35-36-- “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword??/FONT>

008:036-- ?As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter?( The adversities listed by the apostle here have been the experience of the people of God and all generations.)

Let’s look at the suffering of Paul-- “Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I am more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft?/FONT>

011:024-- “Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one.?/FONT>

011:025-- “Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep;?/FONT>

011:026-- ?In journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by mine own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren;?/FONT>

011:027-- “In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.?/FONT>

011:028-- “Beside those things that are without, that which cometh upon me daily, the care of all the churches.?/FONT>

011:029-- “Who is weak, and I am not weak? who is offended, and I burn not??/FONT>

011:030-- ?If I must needs glory, I will glory of the things which concern mine infirmities.?/FONT>

011:031-- “The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is blessed for evermore, knoweth that I lie not.?

011:032-- ?In Damascus the governor under Aretas the king kept the city of the Damascenes with a garrison, desirous to apprehend me:?/FONT>

011:033-- “And through a window in a basket was I let down by the wall, and escaped his hands.?( If anybody had thought that God had forsaken them, it should have been Paul. But even though Paul went through all this he knew that God was still in control. Because God Was in Control He Had Nothing to Fear. No believer should think it’s strange if he experiences adversity, persecution, hunger, poverty, or peril.)

Trouble and calamity do not necessarily mean that God has deserted us, nor had he ceased to love us. “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword??( On the contrary, our suffering as believers will open up the means by which we experienced more of God’s love and comfort.)

Paul assures us that it all these adversities that we will overcome and be more than conquerors through Christ Jesus. Romans-8: 37-39-- ?For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 008:039-- ?Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.?(We must remember that God is involved in our sufferings. God has promised in his words that he will not allow us to be tried above what we are able to bear.) 1 Corinthians 10:13- “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.?/FONT>

God has promised to stand by us in our pain, and to walk with us “through the valley of the shadow of death.?In times of danger, difficulty, and even death I fear no evil. Why? For thou art with me in every situation of life. Because God Is in Control We Have Nothing to Fear.

Isaiah 43:1-7 “But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.?/FONT>

043:002-- ?When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.?/FONT>

043:003-- ?For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.?/FONT>

043:004-- “Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life.?/FONT>

043:005-- ?Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west;?/FONT>

043:006-- ?I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth;?/FONT>

043:007-- ?Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him?/FONT>

We can see from these Scriptures that we belong to God and he knows each one of us by name. When we passed through trouble and afflictions, will not be destroyed for he is with us. We are precious and honored in his sight. Whatever you do not forget that the Lord Jesus shares your pain.

Now we must address and important issue, when experiencing trials and sufferings. What steps can we take to cope with such sufferings and how to be victories over it. First we must consider the various reasons why humans suffer and how these reasons apply to you. Regardless of how severe your circumstances are, they should never lead you to deny God and his love for you or to reject him as your Lord and Savior.

What we need to do is turn to God in earnest prayer and seek his face. Wait upon him. The Bible says in Isaiah that “they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up wings of an Eagle, they should run and not grow weary, they shall walk, and not faint.?There is so much that I could add to this but in closing, Jesus told Paul my Grace is sufficient for thee. Expect God to give you grace in your time of troubles, and he was send deliverance your way. Always remember that we are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus that loves us.

In closing let me say this. John---6:67-- ?Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away??/FONT>

006:068-- “Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life?/FONT>

Let me say as Peter did, where else is there to go? Even though at times that it looks like that God has forsaken us he is standing somewhere in the shadows, saying hold on my child, and I will deliver you. He is saying ?U>That God Is in Control And You Have Nothing to Fear?and he is also saying that if I be for you who can be against you. Trust in me my child. May the Lord Bless each one of you. No matter what comes our way we are trusting in All Mighty God, Because God Is In Control We Have Nothing To Fear

Larry, I am so glad you posted this great message of faith and encouragement here for us.

Remember, when I first heard that tape, I told on another one of my tape messages this: I have heard lots and lots of taped messages lately. all from preachers who call themselves ministers and have 'ministered' for years........then I heard this tape (this message) from a brother who does not even call himself a preacher. it was his first taped message.
It is the FIRST real FOOD I have heard. It is the only message which fed me. It was food and encouragement for my soul.
***************
I was hoping you would give the testimony you told me the other day of how God delivered you in that moment of great need.

Yes, this is food for the child of God. It is spiritual FLESH.

Jo
