| I say there are no other translations as perfect and Holy as the KJV. This Book is the one God grants to the common people. Well then you must be reading the KJV which contains all the books of the bible as it was first produced. Good for you for not taking any other rendition or alteration of God's word. Jennifer | Reply

The Word of God is the proof of everything. Just because YOU set catholic deceivers above God, does not mean it proves a thing. except they loved to kill any who opposed them. | If you know something, write it yourself. I did. Did you read it? The post in black was a copy/paste because it consisted of quotes from the Early Christians as taught by the Apostles. With all your talk about the importance of Apostolic Teaching, I thought you would be interested in seeing some. My mistake, you are not interested. What of all the scriptures I posted that refute your opinion of scripture, Freeborn? I provided biblical truths for my beliefs. Why don't we discuss that instead of how wicked you think Catholics are? Let our common love of the Word of God provide room to talk. ok? I would study up on your allegations about the Church murdering millions, but you refuse to give your references. I know of no reputable source that backs your allegations. | |

| Dove, I am sincerely ASKING you to read Foxes' book of Martyers. (may not be spelled right, that word is always hard for me to remember how to spell it). It is online. In fact we have some of the chapters here, way back. I had already thought of asking you to read this book. If you can read it, and still think as do now, I would like to know. and there are many other books on the Martyers. But Foxe's is especially good, and written by a man who lived in that time and knows it is truth. I will give you some links to the messages which explain the Scriptures which are mixing people up and causing them to think Jesus was God in flesh. It is just not true. God is eternal. He had no father, no mother, cannot die and is a Spirit. God has no beginning or ending. Jesus had all of these. Mary did NOT GIVE BIRTH TO GOD. She gave birth to a human man, made in ALL points like his brethern. (US) Jesus is not the word. He is not the flesh which the Word was made into. He gave us that flesh to eat, which is the Words of God, which God placed into the mouth of Jesus.' It is spiritual 'flesh' = A MESSAGE we eat, or take into our souls to feed our spirits on. Eternity is long, hope you seriouly consider this and seek to know God's truth. | |

What the book amounts to is a collection of gossip that no one investigated for truth, and what little footnotes there are, are useless. | Reply

| Dove, I thank you for editing your font. That is so much easier on the eyes. Also I wish to say this, You can read Foxe's Book of M. online. But if you are like me, I get a lot more good out of something I have in my hands and can sit down with and take my time. If you can find it and get a copy of the book to read at home, It will truly be of great help to understand these things. I hope you can get this book and read it ALL. I have read it more than once. It reached a point, I had trouble sleeping good for thinking of how those lovely Christains suffered at the hands of Catholics. I had to just try to keep it off my mind. But I am glad I read it and know the truth. also I read on one of the articles one of the other new members posted here today, where the Catholics dealt with those they considered to be 'heretics' in harsh methods. They admit it. Paul said in the way that they called 'heresy' is the way I now serve my God. See that old Jerusalem is the true Mother of harlots. She became that Catholic church in disguise. They continued to murder the just as they have always done. And that is why the pope wears those lavish robes. I did not address this when you spoke of it. (too much at one time to get it all in.) But yes, those old priests wore them. But the truth of it is that God hated everything about that old law way of life. It is not the way of Jesus or the true God. It was satan's way of life. God let them have it for that is what they chose, starting with Adam. Jesus did not do this. He was common and simple. I do hope you come to understand the real truth of all of this. So with that, I quit speaking with you. If you can just shrug this witness off, of all the horrible evil things done to people by your evil organization, you do not wish any truth, and will just have to be punished eternally along with this devil-led filthy ungodly mess called Catholicism. they have always been an ungodly evil bunch of folks, especially those filthy popes. I have read the lives of all of them. some were homosexuals, adulterers, murderers, and every other evil known to man. So I knew it would be no good giving you referrences. You proved it with the above words. You have no thinking for yourself. You just blindly believe your evil leaders. So what about all those priest today who have been PROVEN to have molested many children? And it was in one of the catholic articles posted here today, where they themselves spoke of how they would kill those who opposed their teachings. | I don't deny that men within the Church have committed crimes. I don't deny that men of all Christian stripes have committed crimes. Because the Church is the one true church, these crimes are much more egregious. I am deeply saddened that they have occurred. But I do not turn my back on the Church. God does not forget His promises and the gates of Hell shall not prevail. Jennifer |

| I hope you don't mind me adding a little something to this topic, though it seems to have run its course already. I have had a revelation of type I would like to share: When Jesus said that we should cut off our hand or pluck out our eye if it should cause us to sin, it makes no sense in the mortal realm in which we walk about during this lifetime. It makes no sense because of what else he had to say regarding that in heaven there will be no cripples, no blind, no lame. He also said that it is not what goes into a mans mouth that makes him unclean, but what is in his heart. As an eye or a hand has no heart, they cannot cause us to sin, only our heart can. Indeed our heart should be broken on the rock for Christ. So what does Jesus mean by this? Let me share with you... There is a body, a large body, bigger than you and I, which has a heart in every part. And Jesus words are not so much advice as to what we should do, as a warning as to what He will do. Each of us who trust in him are members of His body, the body of Christ. The same body that He will present to His Father pure and sinnless. If a part of the body causes the body to sin, He will cut it off. I believe that the RCC may have been at one time the apple of God's eye. He issued dire warnings to it in Revelation, and in the story of Jezabaal. But she did not listen, and so he has plucked out that which was the apple of His eye and cast it far away, that it might cause His body to sin no more. Just as Jezeba'al was devoured by the dogs, leaving nothing but a scrap of skin from her head and her hand, so too the RCC has been devoured by dogs (Those that where wolves in sheeps clothing). These are the evidence of her beliefs and her works, so that they will not be forgotton on judgement day. She is fallen is fallen, get out of her my people. Stephen | |

| Stephen, You may go as far back in here as you wish and bring back up any topic of interest. We do not care about that. All of these threads are good for discussing, as anyone wishes to do. And I am glad to see you back with us again. I may say things which seem disagreeable, but it is only as I see truth is how I teach it. I never mean to be ugly, but only to show what God has given me. That is certainly a new thought concerning this passage. I too do not believe Jesus meant for one to cut off his physical hand or eye. For that would not do away with sin. Only through the means of His provided forgiveness plan is there any stopping sinnning. This is certainly a new thought to me. But as I think on it, this came to me: Jesus did say every brance IN ME that does not bear fruit, he will prune that brance OFF and cast it into the fire. So it certainly seems to fit what you are saying. Also, In Romans, he said take heed that he cut thee not off also, as he did the original branches. But one thing I feel sure about. The Catholic Church has never been God's true church. It has not been the apple of his eye. That is aways referring to the true Christ and his people. Now I know it starts back In Jacobs family. But even then, it was only the few who had found grace. They are the only ones who ever had FAITH, and without FAITH it is impossible to please God. Now Old Jerusalem is the Babylon Harlot. That is the whore. OT law system is this harlot. It disguissed itself into the Catholic church, after Pentecost. That church was worshipping devils and idols all the while, even before it became the Catholic. The popes were the priest of the idolatorous religion first. I see from what God has revealed to me and out of the Scriptures, that not only the Catholic church, but all of them, today, are part of the Babylon Harlot. I fully believe it is in all of them. | It is nice to be able to spend a little time reading and posting here again. I'm not sure how long it will last though. You may be right about the RCC not ever being the apple of God's eye, its a soft approach I've used for some time in speaking to Catholics about the problems with RCC theology, and might best be left out of frank discussions such as those posted here. I had not considered the branches being cut off and cast into the fire, but it does not surprise me, here a little, there a little, precept upon precept. Stephen |
