Hey Tacoma

Your daughter is still a minor so you do deserve to have some kind of diagnosis - especially as they are giving her meds which don't seem to be helping

You could insist on some information - after all - unless she is in hospital or jail you are the one handing out the tablets - (I hope)

You say she has been "acting out" for about 3 years.

It sounds like something I call ASD - attention seeking devices

I went though a lot of similar behaviour with my son except he got into hanging instead of cutting

But he lied, stole, had motor vehicle offences and assault changes all on his juvenile record

I had no diagnosis either and in his case the condition was fatal

I certainly hope you can get some assistance - insist on it - before it's too late

And please remember - this is not your fault

Sometimes somethings goes wrong in the womb and it's happening more and more in our societies were children find a certain loss of social limitations once the reach pubery

Good luck with it and please keep us informed

Lin
